No. Nil rage quits. I have had way more frustration with servers and waiting times/disconnect's/lag after patches/desycing etc than the actual in game play..

I had a whole different type write up that i did for a site review, same as yours in that it was just a lead in to why you 'awake' on a beach, i will post it here when i get home and have acess to it, fairly lengthy, will definitely scare the tldr crew ;) I am not too worried about a single player deal..but a lead in to the multiplayer could still be cool, if done right, i mean after you appear at the beach it is all your story anyway. But still , people probably dont want their char pigeonholed with a background not of their choosing, the way it is you just imagine it is yourself that has appeared at this moment in time for whatever reason.

guns should not even be allowed on nametag servers let alone sniper weapons. Everyone should only get a melee weapon. Fucking nametags + sniper..noobness extreme.

Pc reboot has done the job for me a few times, the only time i have had any major lag/fps issues is after an update. Same happens with a mates pc as well, similar to Yusho's story above, sometime he gets it, sometimes i do. Reboot = sweet.

My six launcher needs an epi pen. Dissconect issues, ping kicks, timeouts, serving desyncing and dropping off like flies. Steam is a joke for Dayz atm and Commander is dropping in and out. No dayz tonight.

I like the red dot sight on the Kobra, plus it seems quieter than all of the other automatic weapons.

Have had two nvidia cards since dayz release, gtx460 and gtx560ti and my mate has a gtx680, all with no dramas at maz settings with brilliant frames. Only machine in our group that struggles and has had to lower some settingsfor playability is an ati rig (sorry ) Posting some specs will help. :)

There is a third type of player you fail to mention, one who goes about his business not by sitting in a bush and waiting for his thirst or hunger to flash and thus satiate the need with a swift right click to the water bottle or meat stash. Not by wanting simply the highest tier gear and not by killing other players. One who observes all of the mad happenings and sometimes takes part to help if he/she can. One who silently amasses a score of dead living dead, flitting through dangerous areas and leaves the others to kill each other mindlessly and fill their thirst for their own ends. One who doesnt mind a nice evening bicycle ride with the chance of a gunshot cracking across the fields. Always ready to flee at the sign of danger but ensconed in a hidden position with several chances of escape. One who doesn't lose their shit every time they spot a player and spray lead everywhere. One who is playing for survival whilst everyone around is running madly to the cities unarmed and looking for a weapon then popping off shots at anyone within distance or endlessly teleporting military spots to aqquire. More than likely a lot of these types of players do not frequent the forums as they do not feel the need, they know what they are doing and what they have set for themselves within the game and the forum offers nothing for them. They do not grief, they know how the game works insofar as glitches so they avoid them as much as they can, they know how to take out zeds, how to last, how to observe and not be seen. Watching the chaos around them smile bemusedly. These players are enjoying the esperience, lazily visiting towns and other places of interest ..death always lurking at their shoulder. Its like the old fighter pilots saying...hours and hours of boredom with split seconds of sheer terror and andrenaline.

Not a fan of the PDW , if i find one i will just waste all of its ammo on any close in zeds then throw it away and pick up whatever sidearm i dropped. M9 SD i will do the same. I find it's accuracy is worse than..well.. anything. I would rather throw blunt toothpicks. M1911 i like because it is a killer, noisy yeah ..but if i have it in hand i feel safe if i come around the corner and meet a player.Bonus using revolver mags to convert. G17..gotta love the light and the big mag , bit noisy but the light ( for me) compensates when i am out and about in the dark. Can be a bitch to get mags, if i pick up a g17 i will shuffle whatever other handgun i have into my backpack in case i run outta ammo. I really use it more as a torch than anything..a torch that can shoot. Mak..yeah baby, i love this thing! Mags are absolutely everywhere , she nevers goes dry. Can pop shots as fast as you can pull the trigger and leave a trail of zeds wherever you go. My constant companion and the only gun that have ever used to kill players with..two were stalking me for my beans, my mak said no. I love you baby. Revolver..reminds me of cowboys and indians as a kid, i always wanted the rifle but ...nooooooo... "be nice and give your sister the rifle.. " but daaaad..GIVE HER THE DAMN RIFLE! ..plus slow reload..not a fan.But it will kill just like all of the other guns. If i had to pick just one..i would take the Mak. Never going to run out of ammo, and that is my main consideration over all else.

Same, best i have found is an AKM and the m1014 with flash. Generally it is trash, chemlights, bandages, pepsi. I find it very hard to waste my time going to stands now..but i still fucking do, just in case i find the fabled deer stand DMR.. Ooooh look, another fukn pepsi !
