I'm all for ramping up the hardness, as it is atm as soon as you need something you can generally get it within a couple of miniutes, basics like food , drink and low tier weapons , alice packs and survival items- hatchet,matches, knife,map, compass, watch. Some of your ideas are cool, even if only a switchable option on hardcore servers or something.

Take a chance and go looking for some food , chances are someone will see you at the lighthouse and just cap you anyway..might as well practice sneaking around and avoiding zeds :)

Do it the painful way , put your gun you want to put in your backpack onto the ground, then pick up only the ammo..walk away from the gun and drop the ammo, go back and put only the gun in your backpack, then go over and pick up the ammo mag by mag. Slow, painful, but it does the job and you dont lose your ammo.

Well at least it is a vast improvement on your 'this game is garbage post ' ;) ..and just wondering..is that your same post at 4chan or did you just copy and paste it from someone else ? Mensa needs to know before you send in your next application.

Agree with the above, i had a 460 ..awesome card on release and stood the test of time, did Arma without a problem, swapped it out for a 560ti when my mate upgraded to a 680 . The 560ti runs it maxed with no dramas. Budget rig, i5 @ 3.33 and a cheapie gigabyte board with 4g ram.

Dont get attached to your gear. I'm not..but i am to my char :D He's a good upstanding lad , no murders and 1 bandit kill, headshot with the Enfield too , right after he killed my partner and long time travelling companion, bastid. Got his temp up with a fire and i have been keeping his blood up with animals kills so that side is good , but the coughing is driving him nuts. And totally killing his stealthy ways. Sneak sneak sneak * HACK SPLURT HACK ! * RUN RUN RUN ! so yeh... heres my deal. one of these...plus 4 normal stanag mags and 1 sd mag. for some of this.. I know it is not the best deal ever but its all i have that is worth anything. Unless you want a truckload of cooked meat :D If someone wants to do the deal , i am currently at Berezino coughing my ring up on top of the hospital. I wont be on for anther 6 hours from now when it will be 5.30 EST (australia) ..we are gmt +10. I use US servers because of the low ping kick from aussie ones. If anyone wants to do the trade just PM me and i will give you the server details and location of where i will drop the weapon when i get home..about 5 hours from now. I propose to just drop the m4a3 and mags in an open field away from zeds near Berezino, i will mark it with a fireplace and then observe. Of course, its a risk..could be a trap, or it could just be legit. I expect whoever even considers this trade will come with backup, i have none as my parter is making her way up from Kamyshovo...( she is a terrible shot anyway ..sssshhhh ) Any takers ?

Thanks for all of the offers of help guys :) Just to wrap this little tale up.. i logged in and the cough was gone, was not losing any blood, my dude had been touched by the hand of god..its a miracle he cried ! A mate jumped on , spawned near Elektro so we started running towards each other, full dark server. I ended running up beside the Quarry at Solchiniy on my way down the coast, and found a Tractor at the top..now..all i have ever found is a couple of bicycles an atv in the middle of nowhere and a bus in Elektro. I sorta got a bit excited and jumped in, reversed into a tree and then blew up, was chucked clear and bled out on the ground with the 5 minute timer. Such is life in Dayz. ..the horror stories are true..get Morph. Morph should be on the top of your list of items to get. Ditch all of your cokes and get a water bottle too. Two hospitals, one mentioned above and then another jsut above where you are now in Cherno. It is directly across from the apartments.Run North east from the church ( church on your left and the shops on your right ), go straight up the road , across the train tracks, keep going straight until you hit the main Cherno road, chuck a right onto it , you will see the apartments come up on your left.

i lold..and i'm an Aussie. ..apparently we aren't much chop at swimming anymore either ;) If i happen to have a dmr/svd whatever, i keep it backpacked in towns and have my Kobra out , once out of towns it is Kobra to the backpack and scope out. My m1911 still one shot kills too, but i generally dont give a rats, if i have a few zeds on my tail i always double tap to make sure..Its only bullets :) and you can always get plenty of 1911/ revolver ammo. Definitely the m9sd seems a bit light on, i wont even pick that thing up anymore, i would have the mak over it any day.

The AK74 Kobra is my fave in game gun so i am biased..i would drop the MP56SD and stash the cz in my backpack so i had a scoped weapon for recon. I am guessing you like the quietness of the MP56SD though.

Hopefully i will be fixed tonight , but thanks anyway . :) Just the ammo ? ..i'm sure i can find a Jerry if you are serious, i just need to dump a bit of meat :) Bummer , I have found about 5 or 6 packs in a couple of months but never had to use them so i have always dumped them back at the hospital hoping somone could use them.

Somewhere way back when the OP posted Its just, if you spend two hours doing something, most people tend to want something out of that. No :) Thats the thing. Maybe you might do 2 hours and get nothing but the experience. Learn something along the way. How the game works, how to get around, learn your surroundings. What distance you can get to the seds without aggroing them, how to get past them, break their los.That what you get.for your 2 hours. Maybe not a gun or some morhine or a shiny can of beans :) Broken bones are never going to heal without Morph and that is not going to be taken out of the game. Morphine should be the second thing on your list of items to get after a hatchet when you first start out. Dont go anywhere without it..as you have found out crawling for a long time sucks. Fuk..some crazy dude on here crawled from NW field to fucking Berezino. But got his morphine. I have been holed up in the middle of fukbutt nowhere waiting for an hour for a mate to get morph then come and find me in the dark. We learnt the golden rule..morphine above all else. You stated somewhere else above about walking up a hill and the zed still coming and getting you. When you get to a steep enough hill that you are made to walk..you are golden..zig zag run to the top and you are home free..the zed will walk and you will be long gone. I can run through Cherno or wherever, get my zed train on and then lose every single one by dodging around and into buildings then zig zag up a hill for any remainders. I bet you nearly everywhere that has posted here can. Once you get it sussed it is really not that hard at all. Take your time and dont go into every life thinking you are going to last forever, practise some tactics with the zeds , once you know how to lose them then you can start actually surviving. Sometimes you can do a lap around 3 or 4 tightly bunched trees and leave the zed heading in one direction while you crouch run off in another. It'll come man :)

We got swooped by two last night, my lady found one where it had landed on the coast near Kamyshovo, about twenty foot away was a dead dude..patrol pack, bandage, painkillers and torch lol. She jumped in and got up then put it into the trees. The other one was about 1 click away but we couldn't find the dude. did the same, started it and rolled it on its side.

Wait until you are NW airfield , take an hour to get up there, cruise into the barracks in nearly pitch black (only the third time in over two months i have been there) crouch up to the back and find a mwhatever cco thingy, drop my enfield and then start to leave and bang, some dude appears at the entrance shooting and all i see i see is flashes and big horrible grey triangles. Fuk. He must have been the same because he coulodnt hit me for shit, i jump over the chair at the entrance and we have a shoot out amongst grey and black trianglesw whilst hearing zeds going syco all around us lol. I pop a flare and bolt towards the forest , he is still behind me somewhere poppin rounds like rambo 4 v Die hard 3 , i escape into the open fields and bandage keaving him in a firefight by himself wondering what the fuk happened. /Log.

The game is about taking it slow and having some patience not about trying to be Usain Bolt and beating the hordes whilst looking for the bazooka to leet kill everything. 4. In real life how would you play it out ? Sure as hell your decisions would be different when you first woke up on the beach and saw the zeds cruising around. 5. Slow down, Think. 6. Reread point 1 through 6. 7. Be good to your mother.
