In many earlier vids and interviews Rocket had stated how long after the apoc (of sorts) we were thrown into, and actually i'm glad you questioned me because it may in fact have only been a couple of months after now that you made me really think, i had two years locked in but it may be two months. I couldn't find any sources but it is there in some early interviews and i ain't spending all night watching them :)

It is meant to be a couple of years later so the blood would be a dark stain :)

I don't think you can yet. Best bet is to carry as many pages as you can, and write as little as you can to convey the most you can :)

Hunting. Proper hunting, animals that dart away if you make to much noise or move to quickly. Fireplaces that smoke nicely when first started so hey can be spotted at a distance, and the ability to get them going in a house fireplace. Rain also killing fire. Grass view distance extended by default and not an option to turn off say under 600 metres. It doesn't have to be mega detailed past your immediate area as is current, but some kind of grass coverage further than we have. Tape, i wish that damn duct tape would work and we could apply it to a ton of stuff. Tape your water bottle to your helmet, tape an extra mag to your leg, seal your containers so water can't get in, tape four torches together..whatever you can think off, tape will work. A small amount of sea life, fishing. Flares and more options for cool shit at night, loved the mod flares. Tape lanterns to poles and light up those streets ;) Probably not my top five, just a quick five :)

Is that at 200% resolution as well ? I gotta drop when near towns/villages but it is glorious out in the open fields and forests.

Hizzy will be great when it comes out, probably the best game ever. Will definitely set bench marks in gaming the like we have never seen before. More than likely move into beta in week one and then with zombies,animations and everything else perfect i expect we will be looking at a week two full release polished game.

Standard DayZ massive map protocol. They need to move the spawns to random forest locations where you can see only trees.

Have you been part of many Alphas ? It is moving along quite nicely, we are not even six months into the public Alpha yet, sure there was the mod, and pre alpha testing..but this is the official Alpha we are all playing now . Of course there are fast Alphas..and a ton of shit games released that can attest to that. Give me a decent tested Alpha that takes at least a little bit of time over half the shite on the shelfs and in Steam atm.

I always end up in tears of laughter watching this. That first barn sequence busts my face :D
