Epic. Alright lets go.,, no gun start. No use whining about it..its a good thing, it will help you learn a lot quicker about how to aggro and non aggro zeds. Work out how the line of sight on zeds work. Running up steep hills will force them to walk and then you can zig zag run to lose them. Running around objects breaks their line of sight..trees, clumps of bushes, houses etc. Running into houses or barns forces them to walk so they are a good avenue of escape also. Run in..let them get in with you..run out the back door. Take your time and set up your controls first. There are a hundred different threads on it all over the forums, search is your friend. Learn how your backpack works. A hatchet is your most important friend when starting, quiet and lethal..your second best friend is your bandage..always have one. Always. Morhphine is critical to have , you will get a broken bone. Morphine is the only fix. Bloodbags are only good to use on other people, you can not use them on yourself so they are useless to collect unless you are in a group. Daytime means the zeds have a better range to see you..be aware of the icons on the right of screen..the ear and the eye.They show your level of being seen or heard. Food and water will not be a critical thing to pick up when starting out, neither will scrap metal, tyres or windscreens. A gun is of course handy, any pistol is a good starter especially the makerov as there is ammo everywhere plus it is reasonably quiet. A map and compass is a handy tool to have early on for navigation, matches and a knife are also essential if you want to live off the land.. This means you can kill, gut and cook your own food and not have to live off beanz or pasta which you can only get in residential areas from dead players or some dead zeds. Some things in your pack take up more than one slot, wood for example takes up two so you really need to sus out how that backpack and inventory system works. If you have watched a heap of vids and been sussing out the forum you should have picked up a heap of tips and have a general idea of how it all plays out. Elektro and Cherno are good places to gear up but high PVP spots. Once you know the layout you will be able to get geared up fairly quickly and gtfo and see the rest of Chernarus and what the game has to offer. Or you could just stagnate and deathmatch it out in Cherno or Elektro if thats your style. Doors can kill, ladders can kill, rabbits can kill, trees can kill..be careful its a dangerous place. Enjoy..its a pretty good mod :) ..and i doubt it will take you long to catch on, clearly you arent going to get it all right the first few times. Just dont come back in five minutes saying that no gun start sucks omfg its so hard, i have been sniped ten times in 11 lives omfg campers, everyone kills me when i run up to them with my hatchet out omfg griefed, zed broke my bonez and then i bled out after i just respawned omfg lolwut suxxorz, cant outrun zeds and i cant find a gun omfg this is shit..everything gets done to death 95 times a minute here because no one knows how forum searching or how to go back a few pages anymore. Oh yeah,,when you start take note of the writing on the right lower part of the screen, that will show you the area where you spawned so you can observe landmarks and work out where you are. edit ..just saw Alices post above. Cherno and Elektro are not that scary, just move quick and dont fuck around in the open too much. like i said above, get your basic gear and get out, places like Zeleno are a lot better to get geared up as a lot of players are deathmatching it in the coastal towns and Zeleno can be like a ghost town even on full servers.

1 mak mag means 8 potential newb kills..thus picking up 8 more mak mags..8 steaks . plenty of bandages , and enough painkillers to trip out all the way to Berezino. Or no painkillers ? seems harsh. Either way my now 8 mak mags means i am piling them bodies up on the beach like D-days lost brother. Pretty soon i'se got meself a body bunker near Kamenka and all the steak and drink i need to keep this part of the beach for myself. You guys can have Cherno and Elektro..the ones that make it that is ;)

challenge accepted, i could go a third nut. Is it odd sized though ? If it is the bigger of the two i could probably hang it in the middle whereas if it is only a wee one then i suppose it would have to go on the outside , maybe with some sort of bling attached. Played on one US server two nights in a row with one 5 hour and a 4 hour sesh..nil hacks, have played on it now for about a week with no hackage action, could be the time zone thing though as most of the euro and US kiddies are possibly in bed after their mummy has tucked them in. Wont state the server name as the skiddies will all paradrop exploding cannibal steak in or something and wreck it.

i left my one and only l85 i ever found in someones tent. Took their dmr and steak so it only semed fair.

Yep love the DMR as my travelling gun when out and about, once i have that and my ak74 Kob i am happy.I pass on the as50 and prefer the DMR. Once you have the mildots and distances worked out it is an awesome gun. Strokes for folks.

The problem with this 'easy fix' is that it does not work for the majority of players. :)

Yep..graphics glitch makes it impossible to do anything at any of the fields plus Stary , berezino, Green Mountain and to an extent Cherno atm for our small group of three.

Maybe Mark does not like Milk ? Was Milk thinking of getting in on Marks action..was there a lady in Cherno that Mark had his eyes on and Milk had an uncontrollable anger brewing in him for that whole hour, and finally snapped on the side of the road in the dark, spilling Milk's brains all over the grass. Moral of the story..don't cry over spilt Milk. Mark may have had his reasons. There are many stories in Chernarus and it is impossible to know the full back story behind Mark, jilted lover or screaming physco ? We will never know.

I salute a dude called Luke, i killed him near castle Rog a few moons back, he shot as soon as he saw me, i dodged around and tried to direct with him for a bit..he never answered me while i was bandaging just near him. I snuck up and popped him in the back of the head with my winnie. He knew i was there somewhere , it was dark, i had flares popped and he was lit up on the edge of the circle of light near a tree looking for me..sorry Luke..i had to take you down pal, but at least you never logged. He had semi decent gear too. Alt f4 or combat logging is for pussies..exploit or not..it is definitely cheating. It is in the game but everyone knows that is beside the point, even the loggers. Your getting shot at, your in some sort of firefight..if you don't stay until the finish..good or bad..you pussied out, and you know it.. for a few pixels worth of gear. You just got to shake your head and move on when you come across it, and know that you didnt sink that low. Doesn't matter if you do not get their gear..if they log they have declared their non skills and lost face. Logging on an obvious hack is clearly different. Using 3dp is also clearly different, it is a server option and up to the player to decide if that is their gamestyle. People trying to justify combat logging are pussies and no amount of but he did this..or he said that changes it. Combat loggers... Fuck off pussies :D

I have found antibiotics to be as rare as too, i have looted hospitals many many times and very rarely found AB's, my current box i got from a tent raid. It had plenty of everything but only 1 x AB. Defintely not common.
