I am already over the people crying that they paid 30 smackers for the arma pack to play the alpha mod and now will have to pay some more for the alpha stand alone. Its like they expect it to be free in alpha standalone because they already paid for the alpha mod..something is really wrong with these people and the way they want everything handed to them for sfa. You know what the best way to really whine is.? .with your wallet and not your mouth. Stand by your supposed morals instead of whining like sheep...who end buying it anyway. What SystemiK mentions above as well..if people actually used their fucking brains and read and took it all in before posting then they may have an actual idea of what they are talking about. So much bleating here sometimes its like a fucking goat farm. btw none of the above is about anyone in this thread above..just in general over the forums.

I would say that BI will and do..look at Arma, not a mainstream rails pos game like so many others..i cannot see them changing that and there is no way Rocket wants to go down that well trod and boring path with Dayz..i think we are safe in that respect.

I am right on the money apparently..gtx560ti and an i5 @ 3.33..4gig of ram on win7 32 bit... and it screams along fine at max settings..maybe you need to downgrade ;) When i originally tried Arma back in 2006 with well over rec specs it was a buggy crash fest of death , i never touched the arma series again until dayz came out and whaddya know..it runs fucking brilliant. I think it can just be luck of the draw because of poor optimisation.

I think you are jamming your mindset down his throat. Sure everyone collects the loot..not everyone plays deathmatch style though. I have nearly 400 zed kills and only 1 murder. My partner has nearly one hundred zeds and zero murders. Our main goal currently is to get a motorbike each and then we would like to try for a choppa which will more than likely involve hours of travelling, refuelling and possibly a few skirmishes.Deathmatch..not for everyone man. If this was purely a deathmatch same old same old game i wouldnt even have it on my hdd.

I don't really understand the mindset of the alt f4 player, like you said, as soon as they have logged you have won. They have shown their game plan is severly lacking or that are just there to get the most loot and are not prepared to lose it. From the moment they bail they are playing on cheater time so why bother. Hopeless.

Nice work..best i have done is 17 i am pretty sure. Currently day 10 now and going for longer. I know what you mean about your rules. Everytime i break em i end up in a dumb situation i could have avoided.

From full blood when knocked out with busted leg you will last to about 3400 blood before you wake up. Hopefully you have a bandage and some food. From 8 grand..you aint making it unless your mate is there waiting.

I have you beat. Logged in under a tree prone way above Berezino in the middle of a forest, the writing only just came up on the lower right of my screen when i heard shots and died. Was well under 10 seconds..possibly five. Clearly the guy ..i call him the never sleeping commando machine of death..saw me log out there about 15 hours before and waited for me ..gun trained on that spot for 15 solid hours, never faltering in his duty to score my coke and beanz.

How many people on server ? Depends ..sometimes Cherno is chock a block full -sometimes its a ghost town. I have been killed more in random far away locations than i have in the deathmatch cities. You can normally gear up with a new spawn ..what have you got to lose? then gtfo in a few minutes.

He will learn, everyone who gets the dew dies shortly after. Dont hoard it , drink it or pass it on.

Me and my mate have aleady done the NW airfield quarter mile a few times as i am sure have a few others. It makes for a half decent racetrack ..i'm sure with a bit of lateral thinking we could set up a pretty good Death Race style race track up there, last one driving gets the beanz.

and here is the tally.. 192 % of players are just here for pvp 728 % never leave Cherno or Elektro 216 % alt+f4 rather than get die and lose their nicely crafted pixels 9876034.9 people are hacked on every twelve minutes and less everyone is a griefer everyone plus their grandma is going to stab you in the back. 100 % of mountain dew is rare .01% of most figures quoted on these forums are in fact pulled out of posters asses. 75 % of the time this post sat in limbo while i actually worked. 10 % of that work time i talked on the phone to someone who had even less of a clue about what the fuck he was doing. The remaining 15 % i imagined i was on a beach with several lesbians who had a suply of alcohol on cold ice.

No camparo really is it ? Assault short to medium v sniper medium to long. Everything has already been said..chuck the DMR in your backpack for scoping or longer range situations, use the ak74 for close in killing. The dmr is an awesome weapon, big mag, semi auto plus nvg usage and that nice zoom scope, lovely. Ak74 kob has a great sight, 1 shot head kills, 2 shot body, quieter than akm. With those two you are a pretty formidable survivor. The only real step up is to have the thermal ..but thats a fairly shit gun overall and i dont really care for it but thats just imo. Using your dmr on zeds is just wasting ammo though plus, like said above, you are just aggroing more with its loud factor.
