Dear god no. Just no. I dont want to be running around finding rinky dink in game money to use. vending machines sure, bust them open to get stuff maybe. But currency..nup. Metagaming provides trade oppurtunities, even without it i am sure many have traded gear in game. especially after helping someone. The whole end game concept is a hard one to get right, who wants the old school big boss type level ? , you mentioned airport with 200 plus zeds, that is the same principle, been done a million times, predictable and boring. End game is what you make it thus far, our groups endgame is still just survival of the char, helping people where we can, hopefully taking out some bandidos, seeing what the next patch brings and working along with it. I dont know if the dev team even has an endgame planned, from what i have read there is no such thing envisaged. Obviously the duping and hopping made the game too easy too quickly..it is many users fault that so they are bored already and have nothing to do. Remember when you first started and the whole feel of finding something better than the mak or your first winnie ? Well that is out of the game for most of the playerbase ..because of the playerbase. Now its wow..look an as50, nvgs and a gps. I didnt even see that stuff for the first month or so, now it is rampant. Kills the whole gear up adventure. qft.

Fair enough :) but in all reality, thats all that is really meant to be going atm. People have been sucked into the game thinking that what they are doing is for keeps as in it is a full polished game. It seems very hard to get it through their skulls that this is not the case :)

Yep, when dayz first came out i checked out some player reviews and vids that were starting to pop up, got interested , 29 bucks ? why not...it actually surpassed my expectations as most games fall flat regards the hype they get. Warz just aint doing it for me in the same way world of tanks doesn't do it for me, i think it will be good in another way though as it should take a large part of the meme based userbase from dayz. . Epic is way overused. The universe is epic. Coming across a waterhole after three days crawling on your kneebones in the Sahara is epic.The battle of Stalingrad was epic.

I would actually buy the first one in its framed form but i imagine the postage would be killer.

So what do you guys think should be done at this stage of the mod ? Do you think the devs have their heads up their asses and are unaware ? Have you not read what they have said about the rampant hacking ? Closed testing would be the only way to eliminate the hackers. Password only enough servers to allow a couple of hundred people to properly alpha test the mod. Everyone else waits for the paid alpha standalone. Solved.

qft..no many seem to read these sort of posts do they, you know, the ones that explain why. Rocket..fix it BEFORE release or i wont buy it. I am sure you have made the dev team scurry to there super anti hacking machine and start working five times as hard. No food or water and firewood splinters founder their eyelids until the mod is clear of the skidmarks. I believe they are unaware of the rampant hacking atm so thanks for the heads up.

I see holes in your theory. Glaring and large even. Zed explains it rather clearly though so read his post. The good thing that hopefully will come out of Dayz is that i am sure other game franchises will take a look at the resounding success Rocket has on his hands and change their approach to games in the future, just like warz did ;)

My mate slistarted running up a 90 degree incline near Cherno , i warned him and said..dude you gonna break a leg dude..nah man i go up here all the ti..sliiiiiiiiiide CRIGGGCKKKKK! The noise his snapping bone made caused me to wince and smile at the same time. Then i heard the sound of flies, hey dude..your ass is dead man. As i sat their eating his beanz waiting for his sorry ass to run up from Kamenka i thought..games are the most realistic thing ever. The noise was rather ouchy sounding though.

Nothing about warz has excited me in the least. The game looks very 'gamey' if you get my drift. Looks far more console type than pc..but i suppose we will all find out soonishly possibly maybe.

Unistalled six launcher..using play with six which is much better even though i never had a problem with six launcher anyway. Nice work. Now if only all of the servers could get in line with some sort of standard setout ie Recruit-nametags,3dp on, sights on. Reg-3dp, sights Vet-only 3dp on Merc/hardcore-no3dp, no tags, no sight.

No matter what they do with any game it is always going to be so. Learning curve>die lots>learn>win. It also is always going to come down to how you play. Server hop or dont, depends if you want to play how it is meant to be played. Get to the barracks and no gear..hop hop hop>boring. You have not mastered it , you are just using an exploit within the whole setup to get what you want faster. Any way you cut the cheese all you are doing is cheating yourself. Personally i think hopping is one of the lamest things people do in the game, but thats just me. Things are going to be introduced to slow down the vet as compared to the noob, slower walking running etc once you have more gear, water food degenerating quicker and no duping. (thank fuck) But no matter what..new players will always find it harder than vets..you cannot change that , its impossible. The only way to change it is within the playerbase itself..and that is something that no dev can program in..he can give us the tools but it is how we use them.

I am sort of waiting for someone to pop my skull, been alive for awhile now and i am missing the madness of not having anything.

Had one, swapped it in a tent for a dmr..what can i say..i just dont like them, too much of a crutch :)
