Standard gaming/mod forum on net. Previously unknown dude makes a game or mod. Game or mod gets semi popular. Dude makes a forum or blog or whatever. People come in all yay! and wooohooo ! i love this shinizzle ! Dude posts away in his own style like he has ever since he has been on the net.Everyone appreciates his work and time taken to post. Game or mod gets more popular , people start having opinions and ideas. Dude keeps posting and fucking with mod frenetically. Game or mod explodes. People start to feel like this is their game that the guy is fucking with now, some do not like the direction, glitches or whatever. Dude is all of a sudden crazy busy with the fanfare and popularity of his mod. People start abusing dude who made mod, typically it splits into fanbois, trolls, haters and the casual forum user looking for tips or just general info..The haters and fanbois can stand out far above the others though and can make it very monotone and painful to sift through on a daily basis. Dude does not have enough time to focus on the forum as much anymore, which has now sunken far from what it used to be anyway and posts infrequently, you can only take so much abuse before you think fuck it, just beating my head against a wall here with this crew. Seems on par with the standard style i have seen over many many years. Seen many a Dev not post on their own forums because of the beating their head against a wall. Its a pity but the old standard of a few bad apples spoil the bunch.

Why do think there will be 9 pages of fuck you? i'll tell you why.. he has played for three weeks and has not found any good gear yet..seriously ? Most have decent legit gear after a few days of playing, i am not talking top tier military like as50's, nvgs and a rangefinder ..but winnies, enfields, aks, m4s,m16s, m14s etc. It is not even that hard to get hold of a DMR if you want a weapon with a good scope. There are plenty of people playing legit who are not scripting and do not feel the need to. When he dies he god modes and kills them. When he dies with his scripted in shit other people find it and it adds to the in game hacked weaponry and items. I also dont want some scriptee fuck 'helping' me out by filling my char with a coyote and all items plus a ghillie. Fuck that shit. This line.. I never shot ANYONE and id always ask people 'hey friendly?' and they'd just FUCKING SHOOT YOU. NO REASON! Cry me a fucking river. and this part.. I'd only, ONLY use scripts to spawn in weapons for myself and my bros, cuz it was obvious we were never gonna get good shit when everyone just kills us all the time. And the ONLY TIME i'd use god mode is if someone shot me for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON and I'd spawn back at them and kill them for being assholes. What he should have written is.. i script in stuff for me and my mates because we are no good at the game and cannot handle being shot on sight. When we are killed we cheat like fuck. Fucking noob. Minus beanz.

Sometimes we hit a town and go full Rambo balsting the fuck out of every Zed we see and amass a pile of bodies in the streets, fill the church or the shops. Best i have had is 450 odd. I cannot seem to break the 500 barrier even when i was going for a thousand zed goal and playing carefully. I always end up going into places we dont really need too.. ' hey lets just check out this place and get a drink or something ' and then end up dying from something stupid.

DMR ..i feel naked without it, i simply love the zoom in scope ability over any of the other scope types in the game. Once i find my baby i feel safe and content. I will complement it with either the ak74 kob or winnie, but the DMR is my favourite by a mile. Tried the as50 but i hate the size , the looks of it, the lack of smooth scope zoom and to me it just isnt something i feel i would be lugging around the countryside in rl.

We nearly had a collective heart attack when we found a can of Dew in Stary. I picked it up and stashed it in my pack , the two others in my small survivor group came and looked in my backpack in wonderment...the fabled Dew. We were going to use it as a trap, place it somewhere in open sight and see who came along and then follow them and see if the curse came true or not. Thinking this to be an unfair burden on an unsuspecting player we decided the curse was ours and fled to the hills where we discussed what must be done. Kill it with fire ? Leave it in the forest ? Put it on a zed and hide the body ? Carry it to the top of green mountain and leave it ..or the big smokestack in Cherno ? The middle of nwaf ? After much talk we decided we must keep it, it had now transcended our mortal lives and we needed to keep it in rotation. Because of the Dew we decided we have to focus even harder than normal on watching each others backs, We made a quick set of rules.. The Dew carrier does not go into high pvp places or exposed locations The Dew carrier does not climb ladders The Dew carrier must avoid zeds, rocks and rabbits We rotate the Dew amongst ourselves every 30 minutes We never put the Dew on the ground, in a tent or a vehicle The Dew carrier must never drink the Dew To make it challenging we have also decided we can not just camp out up the top half of the map, we must voyage down to the deathmatch cities via ne airfield, Berezino and down along the eastern coast. Then we plan to loot Elektro, Cherno and Balota. I am rolling with a winnie and an ak74s atm , really missing my dmr for recon. Wish us luck as we head out on our journey. For the Dew !!

Two hospitals, medic tents, 5 apartments, shops, church, two pubs, big industrial building near the crane, a ton of little sheds and shacks and some house plus a bunch of barns on the outskirts. Once you know Cherno and work out a quick route that takes all of these places in you will be golden. Oh yeh and the firestation.

Can someone do a sum up of what was said, the important bits ? No sound at work :| Was Rocket playing and got script kiddie killed ?

We have some tents and vehicles saving on a normal hive server 1.7.2.5/95883. I stashed a bike at our camp , went back after restart and the bike was right where i saved it. Tents are duping but they are duping with the original save items inside whereas the fiirst tent we pitched and saved with items is empty.

Yep, i have been following the Rift and love it, i think there was something briefly said about by Rocket in the Reddit q and a. I use trackir and have for a while so its the next step forward.

Ships, definitely. What the fuck happened to all of the shipping ? Same with the airfields, surely there were a few bigger aircraft down for maintanence. I gather from what has been said by Rocket a few times that we can expect a fuller world , not something as empty and dead as we have now. I am hoping for more atmospheric enviromental type stuff like running creeks with the ability to fish for example. Having your fire go out of control and catch the surrounding area alight if you do not keep the fire surrounded by rocks..there could definitely be a downside with that lol. Someone sniping in a building floor above you, stack some wood and light that place up :) of course it should not be an instant blaze..Cherno scorched in the first 2 minutes on every server. Maybe the fire is a bad idea.

Yep as above, as soon as my home server resets i run around and grab a car a bike and a pushy. They dont save but i get to use them for the time i am on to get around. Cant wait for tent and vehicle fix though.

Downloaded it for watching when i get home..no soundcard or onboard at work. Looks amusing :D
