I have left heaps of mk48's in tents :) A lot of the time if we are solely vehicle hunting we have full kit, so tents do not mean a thing.

Never found rangefinders except in tents or a players body either. Legit best find would have been finally getting nvgs in the top barracks. Walked in and they were in the shower, i nearly fell of my chair :) only took 3 months to finally get them. Rarest gun ? probably the nv fnfal, only found two at heliwrecks.

Have you looked at all of the tabs and options in the ccc ? Someone should dive in here and point you the way, been donkey dick years since i had an ati card so i cannot point you in the exact direction sorry, Have you tried this yet- In game, look at the glitch/ hit escape/video options/advanced/ select video memory to default. Exit back to game.If no good do the same thing again but select Very high, shuffling between the two may sort it for you. Works on ati and nvidia (my gtx560ti, my mates gtx680 and my partners ati68 something) give it a shot :)

Fail poll is fail poll dude :D Our little group is still having fun just dicking around. We all have no graphical glitch from workarounds so everywhere is good to go. Still grabbing legit shit from Heliwrecks, still looting beans and fixing cars as quick as we can so we can do some laps before server restarts. Still have not turned into snipers killing everyone , still laughing when dumbshit happens. Still watching looters hit NW field, Stary, Zeleno etc,,pissing ourselves when they get the zed train,laughing more when they shit themselves because we are shooting zeds off them, collectively booing when we get teleported and running back with axes to start again. We have not even swum to Skalisty yet as we always get sidetracked..can you fucking believe that shit. What can i say ? Its a pretty cool thing and we still enjoy it :)

I like the crows idea, has been brought up a few times and i think it is an authentic touch. Dead shit attracts crows. If only 4-5 crows are loitering for say an hour or so in an area of a mile then , sure, you give away that a dead body is there. Its a risk to take if the shooter is still there though, just like coming across a chemlight. Someone has passed through within the last 1-59 minutes, was it to light an area or is it a trap ? It would add to the game as you need to make a choice whether you want to sus out the body, the surrounding area or just bug out. A quick adrenaline rush everytime you spot the crows in a group, plus , atmosphere. Needs longer than a 15 minute timer though as the window is too small, a sniper type will be more likely to hang around if he knows he only has to wait for a short amount of time to see if anymore trade ventures along. Most survivors would more than likely want to hide the kill so it does not attract attention. Definitely cool.

Will or will not be awesome. There is also a chance of mediocrity. Do not be alarmed. Riot police and medics are standing by to deal with the madness. This post may possibly be weeks early, but why not get warmed up with a trial run eh, prepatch is always as good value as actual patch.

No :) You get what you get and thats it. Just because you need akm ammo does not mean the chance of finding it is weighed more heavily in your favour, even if only slightly. That takes away the worry of having an empty gun or near empty as you know you will stumble on some quicker than normal because of your 'play style' as you put it. Scavenging around with only two bullets for a long time really changes how you play the game. I am hoping really hoping Rockets drops the fuck out the percentage of military equipment being spawned. Get back to basics and away from the whole wookie www3 model we have going on atm.

I would rather see standard wild animals before any ai people or super beasts. In fact i would hope we dont see any sort of super beast or military/other people ai :)

We play at night just as much as we do during the day, more often than not without nvgs. We like the night. The main two night (our time zone) servers we frequent can have up to 20 people on, not everyone runs away when it gets dark, but they are no 3dp no nametag no ch servers. Playing only day to us is totally boring , we are even quiet happy with the full time cycle. The night is not for everyone ..and neither is the day but i hope Rocket does not decide to dumb it down with a 4-6 hour night/day cycle or something equally silly I have faith in him on that though as he iis not here to pander to that sort of stuff even if it cause a player drop.. 25/75 chance of a cold ..in a sleeping bag, in a tent...with a fire ? If chances were anywhere near that high, even without a fire, everyone would stay at home and never go camping, definitely no on that aspect. It is not hardcore, it is overkill. Couple of weeks and you will not see a healthy person in game. I am all for hardcore but i dont want to be playing a game where everyone is sick and slow because of a flawed unrealistic game mechanic,.25/75 is way too high dude ;) You go camping much ? My kids get a lot sicker in the city watching tv than they ever have by being in the outdoors away from people. Rain, snow or sun. Use something like 0.5/100 in normal weather and maybe work your way up as conditions worsen. What happens if you do not find a tent or sleeping bag spawn in a few weeks of playing ? Took me forever to find my first tent.Can i sleep in a house, in one of the beds, and reduce my chances even more as compared to the outdoors ? A sleep mechanic like you suggest needs a few more things added as well. I should not just have to be forced find a tent and sleeping bag. I could use a tarp and blankets, wood and tarps and sheets etc to make my spot, i could dig a hole and cover myself with a makeshift roof etc Heck i could sleep in a car with a sheep skin :) I would not be taking sleeping tablets in an apocalypse or any grim world situation. I believe there needs to be some sort of system for the alt f4/ combat logging deal for sure, but we have had plenty of times where for various reasons we have been kicked from a server, only ever once in close proximity to another player, but i bet you they thought i logged. If the 15 sec timer rule was in i would have been dead and looted. For a 1 in a hardly ever chance i know we could live with it as just unlucky, We never log so dont really consider it an issue whatever they come up with, plus we always log out in the forest under trees. Never in a built up area, You may have the basis of an idea for sure , but it is the implementation that needs to be really well thought through :)

Agreed. Playing when we first started use chem lights and flares was awesome. Getting a G17 was a major win moment ! If nvgs are retained i hope they go with the rocking horse shit and short battery life. Make the battery packs for them rare as too.
