I have fraps but only free so no good for footage..and i am a buttscab so free is best :) I grabbed Bandicam and had a quick muck around with it filming my desktop but that is all at this stage ..yeh i'm hardcore. So anything i should know before i attempt to get it going in game ? Do i launch dayz first then Bandi and simply press my set key to film and record ? Is it that simple or will i need to set it up specifically to work with dayz /TS/ Direct. I normally search this type of stuff all out but if their is a proven and tested way i figuire someone here can save me some time :) cheers

I was clearly being slightly sarcastic Sir Duke ;) To me all of the high powered stuff like this just go against my feel of the whole dayZ theme. If it had a rarity of 0.01 with ammo only found with it and not by itself ..maybe. More military weapons does not make the game. We have enough games with a million guns/launchers etc. What about taking out armoured cars/buses/trucks with the old school dirt pit trick ? or spikes, shooting out the tyres, molotov cocktails ? No need for higher grade weaponry imo.

Down with dirty scopes, bino's etc and the ability to lcean them. Most games always seem to portray them as scratchy old worn things when you look through them as if they are never looked after or uncleanable.

That being said i did see him with a lady once who actually had teeth and i was pleasantly surprised ..until she spoke over direct and was more manly than Arnold. On topic though, my partner plays and has been a gamer for many years getting into flight sims and a few shooters. She has not had much grief yet but takes no prisoners ..she has more wit than 90 % of the guys online so makes mince meat out of the ragers/abusers rather easily. Way back in the day ..the original cod and then uo we had a chick in our squad who used to be absolutely ferocious when she gamed, good value and she could shoot the buckle of your pants with a kar 98 at distance. Guys who found out he was a she were generally cool, guys who carried on ..mouth of a sailor ? She was the damn captain when it came to giving out :D

The Royal Titanic Express you idiot ..grab a lifejacket :) I like the scent idea, obviously picking up a name is silly but the scent deal is cool. Say you have been hit in a shootout or whatever and have to start running because you hear dogs coming..imagine the panic ! You need to bandage but have not the time or the dogs will be on you , needing to find a way to drop them like climbing a vertical area, running through water etc. Risking staying still so you can pop them..and letting the owners gain distance on you. Even if not wounded it would still instill some fear as you know not far behind the dogs tracking you are the guys with guns.

The whole distance thing/nameplate , i only play on vet or reg , nameplate servers are not worth my time..and this whole idea does not apply to that. I think some people are getting that confused ? There will only be a name shown if you drop your veil. To me it would be something that you would not see under a distance from say 10 metres once veil was dropped. A lot ower if in bushes,shadows,running etc. And something not shown at all from behind regardless of veil on/off. I think even under a scope the name can be shown if veil is off , but of course only at the full zoom level..say where a face is nearly taking up your whole scope. If they are like above, shadowed,running, concealed somehow by grass/bushes then the nick is not shown. There (if have read the whole idea correctly) will be no option for any nameplate on vet and upwards unless you drop the veil.

Tinypic ftw :) I was just wondering how many autogyros you would expect to find in the sort of region we are running around in.I know the russkis have a bit of history with them as do several other countries but in all reality they are a rare thing. Not saying it would not be a cool thing but the amount of times i have seen autogtro come up simply because it was in a MM movie..
