The zeds that used to relentlessly chase you were far better than what we have now where a quick sidestep loses a zed train instantly. I remember running from Elektro to Berezino and everytime i stopped this bunch of zeds would still be coming..i did not want to waste my paltry few mags of mak ammo on them and just had to keep on running and running to keep the fuck away. The zeds now are totally nerfed and as easy as piss, sttill imo no matter what you do with the zeds i cannot see it changing the way most people play, you ever see anyone getting chased by a fukton of zeds and stop to shoot because they spotted another survivor or the other way around ? seen it heaps and had it happen. I have been in Namalsk getting my ass raped in the barracks by a non ending stream of zeds and some douche will still pop me while i am laying down with busted legs and bleeding. I really don't think whatever they do with the zeds will encourage teamwork although we all want 'better' zeds, zed spawns, animations and instances like Demon posted above etc.

I have been saying this for months :) no matter what the game, ai always has a workaround.

... Hi :) I like the idea but implementation needs some work. The key appearing on screen is extremely unappealing to me, so are the other two :D how about we just have user defined keys for certain melee actions like block ,punch, kick etc ? I also don't like the cinematic thing, would become boring and make me go fffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu everytime it started panning out, making me avoid any melee combat, or just instantly shooting someone to avoid the pain of it. I will wait for your redifining but here is your awaited can.. :emptycan:

The bold part, you are only throwing a guess out there at that, nothing else, maybe a semi educated guess..after the fact. And in any case when he made his mod it was a simple mod like most, not something he expected to receive the attention it did. So you don't like mods..well maps or content mods, based on a mod. I guess you only play Chernarus then so are missing out on Namalsk and other ported dayz maps ? wait up..the patches also now have a ton of player modded content as well.. One of my favourite things about pc gaming is mods, they fucking rock. Regards dumbing down..you ever played a decent flight sim on a console ? Me neither.. why is that ? Closest they have ever gotten to a decent flight model was in Birds of Prey based on IL2's FM and DM. At least it was a step in the right direction for consoles but despite its better than average reviews it was still classed as a very easy game to complete. The FM and DM's still were not as good as the original much older pc game..reason? The consoles could not do the required amount of calculations that was needed by the AI to make it a clone of the pc version, simple :) So thus it had to be 'dumbed down'. It was still cool that a decent flight sim was available on the console as many saw it as a stepping stone to the more hardcore pc version of flight sims for people just wetting their feet in that niche area. BoP also has no moddability..a big killer for many fans of flight sims. I like being able to game , have a recording program open, be on TS or skype, have music playing and then the ability to do a hundred different tasks whilst surfing the web. I also like the ability to be able to mod games and use others mods. Consoles do not have what i want in an all in one package so you can class me as a high tier whatever you want if you wish. It certainly does not boil down to just a simple controller issue. Like i said originally though, if the dev team can port it successfully to console they will more than likely make a stack more money than they will on pc so why not ? It would seem silly not too

The pc is an all in one package, when they can make a console do everything that a pc does then i will be interested...but why bother, we already have pc's ;) The clear advantage a console has is its start off price and easiness of plug and play, jump in and start shooting, creating a consistent player experience is difficult on pc's compared to consoles, but dumbing down games because of consoles is a painful thing ..Crysis 2 anyone ? Plus for me i don't like the controllers and the severe lack of good simulations. A lot people just do not have the time, patience or experience for some of the shit that pc's can throw at you. This part ... Edit: The only thing PC games can beat Console games over is player created stuff, which I don't even care about. Ummm yeah. I wont even start on that ridiculous sentence, besides the fact that i love player created mods and that a lot of mods have made many many games better than its original..plus you are playing Dayz MOD right ? You might wanna rethink that ' i don't care about ' line ;) If they can port dayz to console and reap in the dollarz then good luck to them.
