WW2 - sitting in the middle of the Channel in my battlewagon playing plink the zed with my 14" guns. WW1 - Bayonet charges across no mans land into the hungry undead hun with a bunch of trench footed drunken mates ooooor..sometime in the trippy early 70's, moderately zapped out on acid with some free lovin' babes , listening to a mix of Hendrix , the doors and zep covered in flowers, honey and licking vegemite off their toes when the apocalypse begins, throw the ugliest of the two chicks at the zeds as they come through the door then run with the other one to find a Vdub (nonstep) some pitchforks and a bucket of weed..head for the hills with a pile of eight tracks and a smile on me dial.

I started with just discreet pm's like..' hey..how you doin' sweeetie, nice gun.' then moved onto 'Show me your key and i will show you mine ' and then ramped up to full frontal nudity threats.

LOL :D Sorry Schrapple , just imagining the scene..happened to me so many times, soon as he chopped you should have instantly brought that Paul Bunyan down :) I had a dude i bumped into at the top of the main industrial building in Cherno..Carl, i was heading to the top floor so i could log, get up there and this dude..Carl, is standing there, i keep my distance,Winnie down , moving away from him. He must have been in his inventory or something and after about three seconds he looks over and see's me, starts shooting, mak bullets start popping all around me, none hit. I see him reloading and aim slowly and put one into him , at the same time he is madly typing ' FRIENDLY ! MAN I'M FRIENDLY !! ' I walked over and watched him bleed out, took all of his gear and stashed it in the grass outside then filled his gear with tin cans , told him over side his body and gear were still there if he wanted it. Poor Carl..the friendly shooter.

It is a ridiculous thing, Whole server got teleported to somewhere near Novy a while back, i had to ctrl alt del to exit the game , went back in and my dude spawns in with the bullshit hour long knockout timer, logged out and relogged in and while i was waiting for my char to load i typed in side if the hacker could please teleport to Hetstaine and kill him, when i made it in to my char laying there with the timer still unmoving i hear footsteps and then see some ghillie feet near me and... one as50 shot to the forehead and i was free. I did ask for my atv back on next log but apparently that was too much for him ;)

The question should be ..would decent games exist without windows ;) ..aka PC's

My .00001 c worth. I picked TWD season 1-2 from the shelf at the local vid shop, my snoring overode the part where they made to some bunker that blew up or whatever after a car trip where some guy died near a tree. I was not entertained. Maybe three or four epsisodes in..yawn. Look back through the dayZ history..it really is not that long (yet) Rocket had the whole survival drink, eat concept, then one of his mates said..why not throw in some zeds..thus DayZ. Not connected with TWD in any way as a concept from the start. :)

As a player with no interest in the server side of things i will be dropping the mod instantly the SA becomes available :) Just so you know, i would expect because of the game type (leaning towards pvp/fps very semi sim) that most players will drop the mod and move towards the SA

I hold 50k keys ...that secret little so called industrial area pointed out in the devblog update is not industrial at all...and everyone thought i was just a silly smirking face with goldilock 80's metal hair. Where is your god now ?

Manuals yes..clickable controls..no :) Adding clickable cockpits/carpits is a lot more than just a simple animation..delay delay delay for things that are not really needed and overly complex. If you have a wheel/hotas control then things are a lot better and intuitive but how many people want a wheel stick combo plus hotas plus keyboard mouse setup in front of them while playing ? There has to be a line between playability and ease of entry even though it has sim elements.

Always good to run the strip and not get pinged. I have a few shots here somewhere from about August ? (when the graphical glitches started) where me and a mate lined up and drag raced the strip in two 4bees (4wd) from end to end a few times and survived. The amount of zeds we killed was insane but zed car kills do not count in your stats unfortunately. And people think the nw field is just there for high tier loot ;)

I managed to make it all the way to the top barracks walking across the middle airfield just looking around then strolled to the main tower and watched the sunset from the roof. I had heard the distant boom of gunfire when i was just past Vybor so there was people around , maybe i was just being scoped in awe ;) Felt fucking weird walking the whole way across that field ...

Hey, at least you will always remember it ;)
