I get that there's still a while to go before the standalone comes, but atm WarZ is looking better. DayZ is filled with bugs and hackers, not leaving much room for fun. Please don't let this idea die! DayZ was the first to have the idea so I believe it should be the most successful, but this wont be the case if you don't up your game.Apparently more than 50% of the DayZ playerbase now uses hacks. DayZ is 1 of a kind (for now) but I feel as though its moving really slowly and the more important bugs aren't being fixed.

This really pisses me off. For about 3 years I've been gaming on a machine with a single core intel pentium 4 at 3.00ghz, 1.5gb ram, 500gb HDD, 1.5GB DDR1 RAM and Windows XP. I'm no kiddie, I'm 15 and in about 3 weeks will be custom-building a gaming computer for $700 AUD. Not everyone can afford a mega badass gaming computer straight off, I pity those who can. Since I've grown up around refurbished machines I've taught myself how to build/upgrade a computer. Comments like this are really shallow, immediately making the assumption that everyone with an old computer is a "little kiddie" with no job.

Maybe it shows you on the map on regular servers but not veteran servers?

Biggest question I have is does this mean DayZ will be coming to consoles as well? I know a few console gamers who think that the concept of DayZ is great, but they can't play since they use consoles.

How are you guys talking about this stuff? I can't even get out of the forest i spawn in, let alone find any zombies. I've been bleeding for ages now, but can't bandage myself since right clicking in the inventory doesn't work anymore. I can't even tell how much blood I have left since the debug stats are completely gone, I cant use 3rd person view. I get significant lag now and see people in the chat constantly asking why they keep spawning in the ocean. Is there some secret to getting this update to work as intended? If so, please share.
