The very first player I ever met was watching me kill a zombie with an axe! It was nighttime and raining very hard! After I killed the zed, I entered a building and saw him crouched by a window looking around! I walked up behind him and just stood there for a few seconds before announcing my presents saying "Hey, whatcha lookin' at?" He literally started screaming "I'm friendly, I'm friendly!" After he calmed down and assumed I wasn't going to kill him, he asked "where am I?" I told him he was outside a town called Khelm on the east coast and he should head to the west!

First rule of DayZ...you're gonna die! Don't get attached to your character! May not be today...it may not be tomorrow...when your number is up, it's up!

I've found several Mosins and ammo in and around the apartment buildings in Novo (Novodmitrovsk), a couple were laying on the balconies! You can also find a .12 gauge shotgun on the top floor of the hotel in the middle of town. There is also a small military garage just north of there near Simrnovo that I've found Mosins in also!

Played on a few Persistence enabled servers last night (after the 0.50 update) wells were working fine, even filled a couple of my water bottles! I generally drink from the well about four times (no more, no less) and stay hydrated several hours!

After yesterday's 0.50 update, my resolution problem has returned! Even after editing the .cfg file (following the "resolution fix", which I have memorized by now) several times, the problem is still present! Will try again tonight after work!

Get indoors and "wring" your clothes out! After several times they will change from soaked, to wet, to damp, to dry (if pristine)!
