So the V3S now requires a battery? And none of them spawn with one? And they don't spawn? Not at all complaining, if it came off that way, just want to know cause I stumbled across one and it failed to start.

Any signs of automobiles?

Is loot respawning?

I think it would be logical for the Skorpion to take up a 2x3 space. Would be nice to have a really compact SMG... I could see as a very viable sidearm for ghillie snipers.

Hop onto another server, move into position so you'll spawn inside the tent, and then relog into the tent server.

I think the server that the tent is on got aten. Its been down for 15 minutes... Im hoping it will come back after the restart in 2 minutes. If not, I feel terrible, and I'll try to give you something else.

Im home, I just realized our ammo for the mosin is back on the tent of the other side of map. Gotta go get it, so slight delay.

Yeah, I know where Gvozdno is, Im northeast of Severo, shouldn't take longer than 30m for me to get there, less if my truck is still where I logged out. What server do you want me to go on?

Trucks also save alot of energy, guys. Vehicles should be a long term goal of anyone complaining about food or energy.

I don't see why people complain so much, or worry about how others get food. If my squad is well-fed, my job is done. I havn't had to touch a apple tree since the last wipe on exp, we have set up farming. Plus, in the north food is abundant. So we end up having inventories full of canned food and tents full of pumpkins. I'm glad they changed it so hydration is more of an issue than starvation now, makes sense. Additionally, sprinting is something we have been doing. We havn't had a problem with starvation yet. However, hydration has been a big nuisance- in a good way. Still havn't seen a barrel... Can you at this point fill them with water? Would love to have one of those at camp.

I got some mosin ammo we dont need... 20 rounds. Ill happily give it to you. Ill be on around 11 PST. Where are you in game? We are all good on food, but got a friend with an amphibia with no mag :).

Anyone else's Bolt/pump/lever-action guns semi automatic? Its terrifyjng that I have access to a semi automatic MP133. The winchester is a god until they fix this.

Yeah, apples work... As soon as possible, start farming. Pumpkins are THE BEST farm-able food.

Thanks! That was really shady to me, cause I have died trying to ccrawl under a truck in previous patches. It did work though. Didn't even have to crawl all the way under.

Finally found a truck, and its broken. Won't let me interact. Tried relogging, to no avail.

I just wish the servers had more people... Not much player interaction going on for me. Looks like those in the UK got plenty of people though! Higher population density, I guess?

I've had alot of experience driving the V3S in previous patches, but not .56. If the V3S is working the same as .55 it will respawn- from our observations it respawns after it going through two server restarts. But thats not 100% reliable. In .55 most server restarts would fix it, however, unless you really messed it up. Ive yet to drive my own truck in .56 exp, only nearly got ran over by one at NWAF. Anyone know how many are spwaning in .56? Additionally, I wouldn't reccomend going heli hunting... I have been since .49 and I'd say .56 is even less rewarding than .55. The best I've seen is some boots. It seems like all the helicopters are around NWAF, too. No more finding a completely untouched one in one of those clearing north of Myshkino or southwest of Zeleno.

So, once someone finds one, it's looted? Or it will respawn more loot dynamically? If they keep the current system of SVD mags and UMP and its mags spawning at the helicopters only, on top of the M4, AUG, and probably M16, its gonna be a real struggle to find those. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Really hope they get the helicopter crashes worked out- I wonder what the problem is, and what makes the helicopters respawn upon persistence wipe but not restart? The goal is still to have the helicopters respawn after restart with new loot, right?

I see SKS's all the time at UAZs, or those little gate buildings that spawn military loot. Like the ones on the western exit of Pavlovo base. Now the real question is... Where do I find a hunting scope for my Winchester? Been looking all over.

I found 40 rounds of 7.62x54mmR in Severograd... 20 loose in a wrecked UAZ and another 20 in a box in one of the green or red two story houses. Also, pumpkins are a great source of food... Friend and I planted just 9 and we are set with food for a while. Don't eat the ones with brown spots on them, though. My friend did, and he got sick. He cured it by overstuffing himself and throwing up, however.

Yesterday, my friend and I were driving around when I noticed a group of unmarked buildings on my map. We were curious, so we drove there. It turned out to just be concrete and patterns laid out for buildings to be placed, but the way it was organized made it look like a military base, perhaps with several barracks. I was wondering if anyone else has been here, and what you think of it. If you want to go, it is about 2 km directly north of Sinistok. Do you think this will be a military base, or something else? Do you think its a good idea? The map I found it on was iZurvive.

The M4 isn't that great, and if it doesn't spawn at static bases, why does 5.56? Why does the AK-101? I think it could work spawning at crashed Humvees... Maybe make more rare and strictly American guns spawn at the crash sites... But really, the crash sites don't make sense... Its not like the zombies picked up a stinger and shot down the helicopters... They are still smoking which suggests they crashed recently. In a situation like this in a world where AR-15s and their magazines come only from magical crashed helicopters, no one in their right mind would use it over a rugged AK with its mags and ammo being relatively common... They need to overhaul the whole 'western weapons only in western countries' thing going on... At the rate they are going, why not just put the 1911, Repeater, longhorn, and blaze at crash sites... They originated from America, so they cant be found anywhere else.. *insert sarcasm*

No, I fully agree, AR-15 platform weapons should spawn elsewhere. I know they are common. In fact I own one myself. However, in DayZ they are fairly rare compared to other guns in the game, and it seems some of us, being from the country it originates from, flock to it in a fanboyish fashion.
