If that does not work, shut down steam. Run steam as admin. Start and close arma2, start and close a2:operation arrrowhead. Then play DayZ. I had "some" :@ trouble. Thank You for great guide, but I would add that line of information :) -

Now, this I cannot get to run. Unless I do it manually (3): 3:exclamation::-/) Long description: Cannot launch a2:CO (bought from steam)... Did try with a2 and a2:OA, those work. When using -mod=@DayZ on a2:OA I keep getting that same error this thread is all about. Only armaII or armaII a2:OA will run, not a2:co. Nor a2:OA with "-mod=@DayZ". Deleted all content, reloaded a2, played a bit (last mission), reloaded a2:OA played a bit, installed dayZ, same "CABuildingParts" and ingame error (menu:"no entry 'binconfig.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope'" and when launching game "...deleted content.chernarus". So, I should launch a2:CO, but then I get errors and game doesn't start, I guess registry key missing. Could set those paths myself and launch "%_STEAMPATH%\steam.exe" -applaunch 33930 "-mod=%_ARMA2PATH%;EXPANSION;ca" which expands (I guess) in a .cmd file named PERKELE.cmd: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steam.exe -applaunch 33930 -mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead;EXPANSION;ca -nosplash Now I can run a2:CO (I guess it IS that, at least it launches and shows arrowhead menus, don't know what it should show though...). So modifying that to TryFinallyDayZ: cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\ steam.exe -applaunch 33930 -mod=C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ;EXPANSION;ca -nosplash So, I get nowhere. Sigh. So back to A2:OA, like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\ArmA2OA.exe" -mod=@DayZ -nosplash Gives error: Addon 'dayz_code' requires addon 'CABuildlingParts" when I click OK game runs. Game menu and error: "No entry bin\config.bin/CfgVehicles/Citizen1.scope" And DayZ when joining gives same error this thread is all about. ".chernarus". So who does .cmd, any help ?
