    Unable to use water pumps?

Just use ponds. I haven't had to use any water pumps for the past while. Although it'd be helpful if they did work.

The good and the bad of 50th patch

The only ammo type I'm finding a decent amount of is 12 gauge buckshot. The rest is seeming a bit rare, although not as bad as how some people say it is. Has anyone else noticed it's a lot harder to get a change in temperature? I ran around in the rain for about half an hour and didn't get a single message about cooling down. I'm also not getting messages about warming up. Does this vary from server to server or something?

    Ultimate axe kill

A lot of the time if a guy has any type of weapon, even just a bow and arrow, it makes him feel like he's Rambo. Nice kill brah.

An idea for when vehicles come..

Sounds like a pretty good idea. Kinda like what Merle does in The Walking Dead to move walkers to a different area.

    killed with an axe

Action movies and a lot of video games have kind of warped people's views of the amount of damage a gunshot wound does. Sure, in real life the majority of torso shots will stop a guy from continuing the attack, and most headshots will either kill the guy, or kill him soon after being shot. But depending on where a guy in real life is hit, he can still keep fighting. It's not always like how it is in the movies where a guy gets shot a random point on his torso and dies instantly. An axe, on the other hand, is a different story. I know if I had an axe smashed into my chest or my stomach I probably wouldn't be very motivated to keep fighting, assuming it didn't kill me first, which it probably would. If the guy hit you in the arm or something with the axe you probably wouldn't die unless you had already lost a lot of blood. But if he hit you right in the face with it, you're done for. It's usually the same with a bullet to the head, but it sounds like you didn't hit him in the right spot to kill him.

    My first experience

You shouldn't leave just because you got tormented by a couple of guys. To be honest this game would be boring if it only had friendly people. Nonetheless, there are plenty of friendlies around. To be honest, if I had only played for 6 hours like you did, I probably wouldn't like DayZ that much either. But I kept playing, and it was well worth it.

Improved Zombies and PVE in general

Zombies will be more numerous in the future. Hordes are also a planned feature, last I checked. I'm not sure about the different zombie types though.

    Time Alive

Might not be a bad idea to get the DayZ mod if you're looking for a complete game.

    Time Alive

I think you might have forgotten that the game is in Alpha phase. Which means there is not much to the game yet.

Game would be fun if they had a smaller boundry

Sounds like you've just been having bad luck. I normally play on 40 player servers, and I meet someone usually every hour to an hour and a half. The map is meant to be a big, apocalyptic wasteland with a very small population of survivors, not some confined COD arena where you find a new player every 5 seconds. If I were stuck with 40 people in a small as heck 2.7 km square, people would respawn, and be sniped by the people who are camping the only loot locations. At least in COD you start with weaponry. In DayZ, you start with a shirt, jeans, shoes, and a flashlight. Finding loot on high-pop servers would be almost impossible, and server-hopping would be at an all time high, due to desperate people going on servers with no people online, trying to get some sort of weapon so they'd at least stand a chance. There would also be rampant new spawns with nothing to lose, so they run into the loot locations punching everyone in the head. To be honest it sounds like you'd be more content with COD zombie mode, where you get a good weapon in 5 minutes and your friends respawn five feet away from you. Plus, there's no buggy zombies in COD, because COD games aren't in early access like DayZ is, which you're clearly warned about every time you boot up DayZ.

Game would be fun if they had a smaller boundry

I personally prefer the map to be large. Having it cut down to 1/30 of its size sounds like it'd be a big bloodbath. Honestly I don't find it that hard to find other players to test stuff with. Finding friends can be a bit difficult, but it isn't as hard when you know where to find specific map locations. I can see a smaller map maybe being helpful for testing stuff out, but people would get shot constantly and it'd just end up being a big COD-style last man standing situation.

How do you interact with others in this game?

Usually people who act friendly are unarmed. Most of the time if someone has a gun and I don't, or a better melee weapon than me, I end up shot or with an axe to the head. Either that or I find a group of armed players who handcuff me and derp around for a few minutes, and then I end up shot. I have a tendency to be friendly, and that usually ends up with me being shot. I prefer not to KOS though, cause the best encounters with people that I've had are when they're friendly. Those people make the game better, although I don't mind bandits because the game wouldn't be as fun without them. But I still kill them lol.

    Sweet Elektro Revenge

Elektro tends to be a bloodbath. I learned that the hard way.
  14. This happened to me yesterday as well. I'm not sure if it's a recent issue or something that was already there.

the new "old" spawn locations are the shit

Man I'm surprised you didn't meet a friendly all weekend. Half the people I meet in a day are usually friendly. The other half just tries to kill me for no reason.

How I deal with Racists and Liars in DayZ

Man I didn't know about the toilet thing. Nice.
  17. I think the zombies seeing people from miles away thing is a glitch with zombie respawning or something like that. I remember when I first got this game and I looked down from my hilltop and spotted one in a town a long way away. He was literally miles away and I could barely see him at that distance. Suddenly I see him start running like a maniac in my direction. I thought to myself, "There's no way he saw me, he must be running for some other reason." But he just kept coming. Finally I turned and sprinted away into the woods. At that point I was really frustrated because I thought it was normal for zombies to see someone standing next to a tree from miles away, and I had no idea how anyone could survive if the zombies had sight like that. But thankfully it doesn't always happen, although it happens more than I'd like it to. But that will be fixed eventually.

    More Masks In Dayz

I support this. There should be more masks than there already is IMO.
  19. Some people also don't like having their thread spammed by a troll who has nothing better to do than annoy people he doesn't even know.
  20. I just got robbed again today. I was jogging toward a small town when a guy comes out of nowhere, runs up and punches me in the head and knocks me out. Then he made off with my mosin, which thankfully had no ammo, and my backpack. I chased after him for a good 10 minutes until we got to Elektro. The whole time I'm saying stuff like "I'll chase you as long as it takes bro, just give up now" and he just kept doing this Tarzan battle cry the whole time. When we got to Elektro he started running through already opened gates and closed them as he ran through, which slowed me down a little. He was running through all these buildings and going out the back exits, and running through alleys and stuff. I ended up losing sight of him. So I looked around, and suddenly a heavily geared guy walks out from behind a tree and shoots me. I ran away, but I ended up with another bullet in my back which killed me. And the guy who robbed me got away. It was kind of annoying to have that bandit interfere, but hey, it was a more enjoyable experience than being shot in the head from a sniper.

What am I not getting about warmth?

I'm Canadian also, and I understand why you're wondering why there's no snow if our characters are getting that cold lol. But the way the map looks seems a bit better looking than a frozen wasteland IMO. Make sure you don't build the fire on the second floor of buildings. Apparently there's a bug that makes the heat go through the floor. Also, make sure to wear a raincoat when it's raining. Even if it says you're cooling off, it doesn't always mean you'll get so cold to the point of death, depending on clothes you wear and whatnot. You can search DayZ temperature guides on YouTube. Some of those are pretty helpful.

    A question here..

Did you stand out in the rain? That usually lowers body heat by quite a bit. Best thing to do in these situations is build a fire. Just make sure it's in a place where other players can't see it.

The Biggest Word To The Wise

Once in a city I met these two guys. I was like "Heyyy I'm friendly." And the other guy was like "Hey bro how's it going?". Then he's like "Do you need any help?" and I said "No I'm good, thanks anyway." Then he's like "Hey do you have a spare bandage?" I said "Yeah, here" and handed it to him. We walked into a building, and then he starts handcuffing me. I was like "Wait why are you handcuffing me?" And he was like "I just don't want you to kill me" and I'm like "Well I'm unarmed, I can't exactly kill you" and he was like "Well I just don't want you to hit me." I'm like "Oookay then". Then suddenly he takes his axe off his back, walks up, and chops me in the head with it. I died, and I hear him saying to his friend, "There, that's how you kill someone, buddy. Go ahead and hit him a few times". I was dead, so I don't know why he was saying that. Then I hear him saying "Nice job". Lesson learned to never corner myself with someone I've only known for a minute.

    Movie Trailer: The Cannibals (2015)

Extremely good quality trailer. Nice job.
  25. I don't consider a guy who KOS's bambies for no reason and then doesn't even loot their corpse a bandit. It makes more sense if a guy has no supplies to survive with, but then sees a guy with military gear, lots of weapons, and a backpack, and decides to rob him or shoot him. But honestly, IMO if you don't need to create conflict between you and another player, don't bother doing it. This is just my play-style though. TBH there's a fine line between being a bandit and being a somewhat irritating KOSer who runs around like a maniac shooting everyone he sees for no reason. If you want to be a KOSer, hey, it's cool. I can't stop you from doing that. But it's more entertaining for both parties to do something like rob them at gunpoint. I would much rather be robbed than KOSed. Heck, I'd even rather be robbed, handcuffed, and be executed by a firing squad. At least I'd actually know the person was there, rather then just be walking along, hear a gunshot, and see my screen read "You are dead". But then again, if the KOSer had no supplies, I wouldn't really be able to blame him, as it's a lot easier to shoot someone than to rob him. Keep in mind I am not targeting any specific person with this post.
