That's true. There are plenty of maps to port over when and if that does happen. I hope the files do become public, so we can atleast have more variety in the future. Have a great day, Steak-man! Bye.

Thanks for your reply Steak-man! I doubt the difficulty to making a map will deter many modders in doing so. If and when they could make a map; they would. I know it's not simple as halo's forge mode. That's an extreme understatement.

I would like for everyone to be able to make thier own maps for DayZ Standalone. The current map is too large for it's own good. Letting the players make thier own maps will allow players to make and join maps that are suited to their style of gameplay. This will also bring old players in to adapt to situations that they might not be used to. And playing the same map gets very boring; it it hasn't for you -- it will.
