Just found some tents. They also fit into a hunters backpack. I will be setting one up tonight and see how long it stays around. -
press vests are by far the most protective vests imo.

I think pretty much everyone uses this site for their map - http://dayzdb.com/map Don't think many people actually use the in-game map.

The public server I play on has the same issues. It has become persistant and loot does not spawn after a restart. -
Yeah, I've been doing the same thing sometimes I'll wait longer than that.

My character was wiped 4 times last night. I know the steps to take to prevent this from happening but it does not work. It's game breaking and makes the game impossible to play. One second I'm geared up. The server restarts or crashes. I attempt to re-join only to find I am a fresh spawn. I log out straight away (without even moving my character) and wait at least 2-5 minutes. Then I attempt to re-join a server only to find I am still a fresh spawn. Four fucking times in one night.. come on.

Those servers you are seeing are the experimental servers. -
I heard somewhere that our in game GUID's are just a hash of our steam id's and a few added letters. So if that is true the id system already works off our steam accounts

DayZ SA is already an amazing game, even with a few bugs and what not, and will only get better so stop whinging... The amount of features the game has already at this point is awesome. Not many games can compare to DayZ SA already. -

Ok. It's just a bit confusing when the announcements on the servers seem to say different. Something like "There will be a full reset of the public hive with the .50 update" -
