God dammit, i dont. I honestly dont remember raging so much as kids do nowdays. Actualy, whenever i raged, that rage was pointed towards my own mistakes, not being pissed at someone elses skill level. Or being such an ass****. I guess there's a huge lack of sportsmanship these days.There used to be days when hearing a "nice shot" from your enemy was more common than "noob cheater lucker whatever" reply. But ya, what can you do? Avoid squeekers. Most of them got brought here by watching staged "epic deception videos" on YT so they're here for "epic trolling" aka being douchebags. I only made the mistake once and god, i dont want to hear that squeaking annoying voice in my death screen ever again.So i feel ya. Only difference is that instead of KOSing everyone i started applying for whitelisted servers and my experience is only getting better and better. No random psychopaths who think making retarded animal screams in a mic makes the game interesting for me, no more squeakers allot less KOS and you get server events. awesome. If you wanna become professional squeak hunter, cherno to berezino area is the place.

I had to vomit 5+ times to get rid of the sick status. The sick status came back twice after it was already gone as soon as i started eating. In the end i got rid of the sickness. I was still laughin and twitching.

yeah, its a bug. died at least ten times because of 1st or 2nd floor in either ATC/prison/firestation/normal house/barn. I tried all the press "v etc" myths. it still easily happens so i doubt it will "reset" my position as some claim. if you're lucky enough you will just loose your shoes pants and legs. Afaik desync causes it. Some servers are just laggy as hell (unresponsive, laggy inventory... find another server, same lag will occur when you walk in the 2nd floor and wham, you broke your legs because your char suddenly changed position for some 20m up in air ) General rule for me is once im geared, i dont enter 1st r 2nd floors, fk it. Dying anywhere far away from the coast by a glitch when u play with a group is more than annoying.

I mean, the victim has to trust you which in my case is like..yeah never, i rather go down man, i aint your bitch to be bossed around either.If you aim at my face and demand me to do things...well,this friendship is ova! With all the desync going on i have no doubt your advantage is marginal even if you have a weapon drawn out.

Alone and 98 bullets to double tap the other 49 survivors. When not playing alone, i mostly prefer two man squad with my friend on whos screen i can see, so we need like zero comm.I always know where he is and im just wookiyin' around; I Stalk him & overwatch.I never enter the same building. We're never together.If i need something he drops it. Works like a charm. 3 man with two "stalkers" is imo ideal. 4 is overkill (just lol at rolling medics in squads. You either come on top and bandage yourself or you die. Can't imagine how much you have to hoard not to be able to carry all the supplies including seline bag (which you probably used after that one firefight instead of just energizing on food)). 5 or more is a school kindergarden excursion everyone will spot.

I was actualy waiting for the status msg to dissapear when i heard a freshpawn askign me not to shoot him. with my toggle neck mode i didnt even notice him there lol. I died 15 minutes later by two walking bushes in elektro. Not sure if its wobo or selbstjustiz, but damn, i love the time on this server. My unluckiest char. Saved a guy from zombies than i was chasing him around svetlo square with my bandages screaming "LET ME HELP YOU".He prefered jumping. Caught a newspawn at the shipwreck, wanted to give him my teddy. He ran screaming i dont trust "your language" O.o i was like "THATS RACIST!!!" and continued chasing him. Maybe Konis advices on how to make friends arent the best after all. Who wouldnt trust me ?!!?!?!? Swear to god once we were in berezino i was about to shoot and break his legs just to give him the teddy <_< Server restart stopped me. Next time you're being offered a muvfukin teddy, take the muvfukin teddy >:(

As much as it might be tempting, try not using online maps. As much as you'll probably want to know the "good" locations it's far better experience when you discover them on your own. I still remember how surprised i was when i accidently discovered myshkino mil. base just by wandering the forests... the flashbacks i got when i entered the village of Pusta, the creeps i got after finding blairwitch easter egg just because I got lost a few minutes earlier.. Using the online map will just shorten the awesome feeling of unknown.

if you manage to make them bleed, just troll them around the cover. Have them in your sight so they cant bandage themselves. the longer they bleed, more prone to mistakes they are. Yesterday i spawned at that little hospital building near beachsite just between solnichy and its factory complex. Got in the hospital and met another survivor. Found a defibrator. :x used it. He felt unconcious (strong but unsteady pulse) i tried applying defibrator again but it didnt work. i force fed him and what not. He remained unconcious.I started looking for saline bag but he used "respawn" before i got back. I hope he wasn't too upset :x I continued my way to solnichy. not 50m away i witness a slaughter of a bambi by two armed guys. I approach them trying not to get shot in the face. It seems they had a quarrel regarding their previous lives and they killed him with a vengeance. I asked them if they wanna try something. Sure, what do you want to try? ~ Well, i was wondering if you could knock me out & try this defibrator on me *drops the defi* Obviously they found it a great idea and before i could say g'nite i was already taking a nap. Sadly defi. didnt do anything, i thank them for trying, wish em a nice day and move on towards solnichy. Found a blue pen there and thought, what the hell and stuffed it into my neck. Solnichy respawn. Letme get that pen again. Elektro spawn. Im doing a quick search when all the sudden a mosin shot ruins my press vest. Im pretty sure the fire came from the hospital building, so I try approaching it from the inland. I soon run into mp133 guy who tried to look and sound friendly, but for some reason i couldnt get myself to trust him.I run away from his LOS before he could get me in his LOF.He didnt seem to mind the mosin firing so i figured they must be working together.It took me around 5 minutes to do a proper detour of elektro and sneak behind the hospital building. I noticed bottom doors locked. With only a gardening hoe i decide to risk it and smash the doors open. Same thing on the roof. i decide i have nothing to lose so I yolo o/. I open the door and start running in his face. I was just fast enough he couldnt turn around and fire in the hallway which would surely hit me. I park in his face and start smashing him. He stands up and starts running like a headless chicken. Sadly, this pretty much worked for him since my game decided low fps is the way to go. He had his failures aswell as he pulls out his magnum but only manages to hit me once (and ruins my 2nd prestine press vest i found just a level below him) I start hitting his face, backpack, jacket & whatnot as i hear the shotgun sound from behind hitting my legs. Aw, too bad. His buddy came to help him. I felt on ground just at the edge of the building.He takes aim at my pretty face as I roll off the edge before he manages to put another one in me. bubbye cruel world xxx

i wish it only showed deaths by firearms. interesting how many people seem to fail to swim over skalsity island. And manage to die there.

But that's just my experience. Im sure there are players out there who met more friendly groups than individuals. The playerbase is simply too big to set any ground rules tho, all im saying/sharing is concluded from my observations only.And it is probably false for the most parts if it was comapred to a bigger sample. You cant put LRS on magnum. I just mentioned magnum since its my to-go weapon when i play with mosin (in your case a sawed off i believe?) . By taking the LRS off the mosin, even if its on your back, you might not "trigger" any thoughts of "this guy was defo sniping elektro/bere/cherno minutes earlier".

TY, i know im hard to read. Im keep getting flashbacks and editing my posts and i believe it gets hardly readable after so many edits :( Yeah, im not gonna claim he was a cheater altho my first impression was exactly that. I saw a friend of mine becoming invisible after reloging on same server, so im open to the possiblity he just bugged out - and knew about it.I madea terrible mistake not trying to check his pulse when he was punching me. I used to feel the same as you about mosin+full sets but than i completely overgeared one of my characters with AKM, 74 short, silencer, tons of ammo, all types of grenades and whatnot. Than, one day it happend. I lost my situation awarnes and bumped into an armed dude. My buddy just went AFK at that time and was standing in the next room. I panicked and unleashed the whole mag into the guy. I genuily felt sorry for him. The more i thought about it, more i felt i had a tremendous window of opportunity to make him surrender but i missjudged the situation and killed him. I came to conclusion i did it over my silly gear.Not because i could loose it, but i was surely afraid some KOSer would get rewarded by it. After the kill i gave the short ak to my friend and threw the akm away. I think having assault rifle is just a huge drawback. You're much more likely to get killed over your gear and people will probably trust you allot less that a mosin guy. I think of it this way: it takes 6 minutes to pimp up a mosin (which is not exactly the hottest, most desirable weapon out there) but it takes quite a few barracks before you make your AK operational. I never draw out a mosin when i approach players. having it on your back makes the players allot more calm, even tho your probably wielding a magnum.take the LRS OFF! Best bet is to find your weapons strenght. Always, Always establish a contact in way you can use that advantage. Never approach shotguns too close and be sure you always have lots of cover nearby.If u see a guy wielding a weapon and your out of his range, try putting weapon on your back first but be sure he cant get a drop on you. If he doesnt see you, surprise him. If you can make him believe u had a drop on him but would prefer some communication you're mostly safe. Those 5 seconds are the most important. I find that saying "dont worry" when he realises you have a drop is way better than saying "im friendly" . The other thing is not to look like loot pinata. No assault rifle? check. Put balistic helmet in your backpack but be prepared to put it back on the second some1 gets in your personal space. Get rid of hunters"igotsomuchlootwithme" backpack. have your high capicity vest in your bag. put the cheap one on. TLDR; Dont look like you just came from new Cocos catwalk show ft. Cara Delevingne. I only got killed with a bow twice. Once it was by some random "im friendly" BANG your dead guy and the other time was chasing bandits in svetlo.So far i havea feeling people dont really feel threatened by bows. if you play in a group dont approach players together. Unless you park infront of the house they're in. I hardly find friendly groups. Having TS and all is just a matter of time when some1 will find it fun to do something terrible to you/me.There are exeptions, obviously :) my personal ratio of friendly groups is much lower than friendly individuals tho.

Just had two awesome days of dayz experience. I was playing mostly my archers on both WOBO servers and selbstjustiz. I broke my cowgirls legs in Factory between Polana and Orlovetz...fml. Tried making splint for two days but i kept getting the same animation bug as always. I gave up. F11. Is it just me, or commiting suicide in this game is WAY harder than clicking "took an easy way out" in GTAV ? It's like my actions have a far bigger weight(?) and I always feel a bit weird after doing it. Anyway, I got spawn in Kamishowo, which is like, probably my least favourite spawn of them all. Strangely enough, it was not looted yet, so i got my archer up and ready in no-time. I see two people comming down the road. One immidiately raised his hand and did a QEQE greet. I did the same. I press ctrl for swag walk and start walking towards them on the middle of the road. So do they. Damn, i was laughin so hard. We greet each other and move into a house, just so we avoid being cannon fodder. One of them was Kim Jong Il.. IV ? I offered them food and got a nice red balaclava as a gift. The great leader also fancied my bow. They were a really pleasant change. I was going to give him my bow but this is dayz so... server restart. I joined WOBO.I died the second i climb up the castle tower. stupid leg bugs -.- Anyway, i spawned at Pik Kozlova and head towards elektro 'cos im kinda tired of insta cherno gear. I met two guys right on the corner of Pik, medium geared. They offered me some food and stuff and asked me for matches. Sadly i had none. One of them asked me for my shoes. Still not being shot in the face i give him my shoes and he tries them on. "blah, not my number, you can keep 'em" haha, alrighty.Thanks for the giggles. I move towards Elektro. I hear some distant gunshots but nothing serious. The city was pretty much looted so I continued my way up to berezino. I run straight for the car dump near the pub. Im desperately looking for a rope to make myself a bow when i see, just behind the pub, a fellow archer practising his aim at zombies. I run straight at him in way you could tell i had a hit on him, but didnt do it.It seems he acknowledged that since he lowered his bow. I greet him and ask him for a rope. He doesn't have one, but he insisted that i take his bow. I couldnt do that so i wished him nice hunting and decided its time for some cow chasing. This was stable, not experimental and i must say when it comes to animal AI on stable, those cows are god damn geniuses. You can tell they were born in berezino since they know the streets better than i do. I have no problem chasing down goats, hell even chickens, but berezino cows in particular..my god.I finaly get my hand on its guts and make myself a bow. I check the xmas tree and find some teddy SKS ammo. Knowing SKS is probably the most common weapon drop in the game i decide to keep them. On my way down to city centre ( at least thats how i call the the church,corner house and hospital crossroad near police station) I pick up an mp shottie just to shoot some zombs. As i approach piano house i see a guy axing a zombie. I run straight at him with my shottie out. I was getting bored at that point so i went straight to the point "Hi, don't worry, do you want my shotgun?" "no, not really, do you want my SKS?" - na, thx At that point i hear several shots passing/flying by. I tell him to run away.It got a bit confusing. Anyway, we ran into the shed and i ask him to bandage me, i wasnt 100% its not his friends shooting at me only. As he's bandaging me he says he thought it was me shooting. He seems pretty legit so i drop my shotgun and tell him to pick it up. I wield my bow. He starts laughin'. Seriously, a BOW? I was like "yeah i dont care, all i need is one good drop, take the shottie". I was on my crap i7 laptop at the time so i rather gave him the better weapon since i have really low chances of survival with my fps. Than i remembered... dude...take back your SKS i have something for you. I drop him teddy bears. Xmas came early this year. He was rather amazed to see one. We get ready and try to pinpoint where the shots were comming from. Shortly after we move out in the direction of apartment buildings and the huge barn. We stay for a little while as we noticed a geared player checking up the location we originaly ran to in order to bandage. We go back, trying to close the gap and move in. As we reach half way we hear mosin shots from behind. Again.We have no visual. A wild bambi appears. Shooting continues. We monitor the area and try to decide on our next move... My game froze. I try to relog ASAP. i get in, alive. The guy i met probably saw me in logging off animation and left. I open up the global chat and thank him for not killing me/protecting me since i know there was a bambi who could easily knock me out. I hope he was near enough to catch the msg. I was happy i got a chance to team up with someone immidiately in order to survive. Days like these really enrich my dayz experience. Joined some 50/50 private cz server. Apperantly i played before since my char is already geared up. I've no idea where i was, but my guess is I was approaching Khelm from Krsno airport. On my way there i hear tons of gunshots on my left, some 200m at max.Sounded like an SKS. I lay down and start monitoring the area. Than it happend. I start getting invisible punches right in my head. Luckily i had gorka helmet so the punches had little effect .. apart from me panicking the shit out of myself. I start running away. Well, finaly a cheater.Or maybe just a lucky guy bugging out becoming invisible (happend to my friend) For some super logical reasons i start being chased by zombies (seriously zeds, theres a guy firing like crazy and you go for me <-< ) .I move into some dense bushes to finnish them off. As im axing them im pretty sure the invisible guy is near me since i can hear another pair of footsteps. I hear the reloading sound. Well fuck.I figure that the shots i heard was probably a player who died due to this invisible guy. after i kill the zombies im still swinging my axe randomly turning around, hoping i get a lucky hit on him. Than, from a bush right behind me, steps out an M4 guy and opens fire at my back. He fails and starts reloading after 10 rounds?Someone forgot to refill his magazine... i start hitting him with my axe but for some reason 3 swings right in his head didnt do anything. He opens fire again and kills me. God dammit. I was gonna ask him for help, but he was a complete KOS horder idiot. You could tell by his precious gear & openning fire behind my back. "just so you know, you caught me running from an invisible dude and im pretty sure you're next" But AFAIK he can't hear me after i get the death screen so yeah. Tought luck, im pretty sure he was next. Warpigs private server.This happend at least a week ago but it was hilarious. Killed Mr.Moon. after he killed my friend. Pretty sure it was not THE Mr.Moon. (he's murican aight? the server is UK one) Buddy got svetlo spawn. He met a fresh spawn. I ask him to to try out the luck and call him "Mr.Moon" and ask him if he just died in abandoned military base. He indeed was :D "how do you know?" he asked him. My friend, being a terrible liar said he was a third party who witnessed it all and than got killed. Sure, that's how you know his name, right? The guy didnt buy it and killed him :D Im pretty sure he checked his pulse before i killed him so he must knew :D Hilarious watching him as a freshspawn on my friends monitor just a minute after i killed him. P.S sorry for killing you, i really wanted to talk it out untill u two started flanking us, thus expressing your desire for violent actions against me and my friend :)

i have 3 gillie chars so far. one is in full gillie suit (10x Burlap Strip and 4x Netting) and suffers great shaking (cant bother to sit between the fires so im quietly waiting for hive restart) with olive high capicity vest ( they tend to bug thru the suit which makes the black one kind of mehhh ) He's my most sucessful wookie - at first i thought inability to paint the full suit will bring a huge drawback but as I've soon find out there's plenty of bright undergrowth in chernarus.As long as you dont hide in Pine trees your suit wont stand out. I especialy like the noisy, bright overgrown grass which you can find plenty as you move towards NW part of the map. My most "succesfull" momment was when a random group of guys failed to spot me some 30m away from me in prone position. We got into a firefight and my friend died. The remaining guy looted my friends body right infront of me. I couldn't let that happen, so i killed him. After regrouping we headed towards vybor mil base.It was our little mission to claim the base & the hill back since we tottaly failed killing an armed group camping the hill the day before. As he approaches the barracks i was crawling up the hill making sure its clear. At that momment, my friend got shot at so i ran into the base and parked myself next to the concrete wall, pretending to be just another bush. I watched the entrance of the barracks my friend ran into. They guy parked himself infront of the barracks waiting for him to come out. Little he knew i was watching him right between the eyes the whole time. after we dealt with the agressor we moved into the prison building where i had to go afk for several minutes.We were about to leave the prison when we suddenly met my bro, painted gillie top guy. Sorry, there can be only one true bush.This was my first time i could compare both suits and tbh, i would not paint mine green if i were talking same location. He stood out. My 2nd character has the painted gillie top+wrap+hood but it didnt see much action yet. 3rd one has the cheapest gillie top of them all. Like most of you said, the top isnt really much of importance, the wrap and the hood however, help allot when it comes to conceiling yourself when you're lying on the floor.the only real advantage i see in a full gillie is the fact your legs are somewhat hidden so its harder to spot you from behind. Just for the challenge I love gillie suits Wether im playing with a bow or mosin.The lack of space is something a horder would never give up, but the longer i play the less i need. If you+re rolling with high capacity and protectors box or another vest you can already carry more than u need to survive on your own.I have to say i absolutely love improvised knife. Its the best next thing to the combat knife, which i, will prolly never find and it takes only one slot. The weather however is another thing and i hope it will be reballanced soon.Tbh its the most annoying thing when playing a gillie char. I almost died from overheating by doing absolutely nothing.I was lying on the floor when i noticed dark red "im dying of overheating" Luckily i found a big mountain backpack to improvise a bit. I figured ill get rid of gorka waterproof for ttsko gear. I was still overheating as hell. I took off the gillie, jacket, vest... still the same. I hardly made it to the first pound with my picture blured out and sat in untill my status went back to "hot". Im seriously considering of letting my friend beat the shiet out of my ttsko set into badly dammaged to avoid overheating.Gorka seems way too hot for movement. 30 minutes after i was already shaking/freezing. all this after one RAIN. seriously -.- . I was bathing in a pound for 10 minutes to reach "hot" status and some rain will freeze me to death -.- I put back gorka set & sat infront of two fires with two guts in my jacket for no effect. Really annoying and not worth the effort of collecting 14 burlap sacks..Now i can put him next to other two snipers who are completely useless. i rather yolo cherno than sit by the fire 1 hr. aint nobody got time for that. Something is just way off here and i hope it gets balanced more properly, untill than you're fine with gun wrap and hood only. I almost died overheating lying in the grass and 30minutes after im freezing to death whilst running, making fire and whatnot. This is not at all realistic.

Sorry, got there first :blush: got pristine NATO & EAST silencer. Picked another one for my buddy.I had to move like 5 hunting backpacks of teddies before i got to the good ones tho. I second this. My friend caught a rabbit several times. We caught one just outside msta as i was picking up feathers for my bow. (about 10min) We weren't anywhere near (about 100m away) the trap during those 10min.Got a rabbit pelt which i couldnt use for anything. small pile of guts and 1(maybe two) pieces of rabbit meat. Second one we caught just outside stary sobor.Im sure the rabbit just spawns inside the trap after X minutes.Or theres a chance it will. I noticed goats are back(i think they were gone for a little while?) and lately i find chickens allot more common. Chicken feathers are also allot easier to gather now. With added machette/knive option to search for an ashwood tree, i find making a bow allot more viable in early stages of the game. I love making bows now as it takes allot less time (especialy the arrow making thanks to the feather drop buff), i can use the guts for the rope and improvised knive for ashwood stick :) just awesome. I dont need anything but some luck hunting down that animal for its guts lol.
