  1. I have sort of gotten over DayZ SA and it's bugs, so I thought I'd try out DayZ Mod, but I am running into endless problems, and I am just purely unsure of how/what to install to be able to join the more "popular server types(epoch)" I have download and installed (in order, from steam): - Arma2 - Arma2 Operation Arrowhead - DayZ Mod I used these steps (which failed): 1. Ran Arma2 until I got to the main menu, then exited out. 2. Ran Arma2 OA the same as above. 3. Ran DayZ Mod, went to multiplayer, tried to join multiple servers with no luck. I recieved an error message stating that I have files that do not have the correct key, or something similar. I am unable to show the error message as I am currently re-downloading everything. I soon realised that I need to download the Dayz Epoch Mod aswell, as no one really plays basic Dayz Mod and there aren't many servers for me to join. So now I am re-downloading Arma2 and Arma2 OA (from steam), aswell as Dayz Mod and Dayz Epoch Mod from DayZ Commander. I still have a feeling that this isn't going to work. I have no idea why the installation process is so complicated for me, and why there isn't much information on the error that I am recieving. The info that I have found hasn't really clarified any of my problems. If I have done something wrong, or need to download other files to be able to play on the 3000+ Epoch Mod servers available, then please let me know. Even better, a steop-by-step tutorial of everything that I need to do from the very start would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot! -PR **EDIT** Apparently all the information I can find about installing DayZ Mod and Dayz Epoch is saying that I need to have these files: - Arma2 - Arma2 OA - Arma2 Beta patch - DayZ Mod - DayZ Epoch Mod But on top of that I need to activate and deactivate certain exspansions in the menu before being able to join a server of a specific type. Is any of this correct? Before I got download more files that will only make the proccess harder and more drawn out then it already has been. Also, how can I tell what servers I am actually able to join based on the information in the server list? I can see the RED/ORANGE/GREEN dots to the right of the server name, but am unsure if they have any impact on compatability or server status. Sorry if my posts sounds a little negative. I am kind of frustrated that I can't seem to figure this out by myself. I'm sure once I am done and playing I will look back and think I am stupid for messing up such a simple install. Thanks again.
