Arma2:Free is not supported as far as I know. Some people got it working with the free version but it doesn't mean it will continue to work in the future + you will get only low-res textures and may experience bugs. Combined Operations doesn't cost much AND you are supporting the developers.

I LOVE the new zombie numbers. The reason people are so attracted to this mod is because it's HARD. Happy birthday and keep it up Rocket !

I say why not, as long as it consumes TONS of fuel and ammo is almost impossible to find. No need for extra models. T34 is already in the game.

Thanks Rocket, I don't know how you can manage working your day job, updating the mod every few days and having a life at the same time.

See if any of these solutions work: - Try verifying the game files: Right click ARMA 2 in STEAM - 'Properties' - 'Local Files' - 'Verify integrity of game cache' - Delete old mod files and re-install the mod. Make sure it's the latest version. - Run the game as Combined Operations when launching from STEAM - Make sure there are no other mods running at the same time. You should only see "@dayz" line under "ArmA 2" on the right side of the menu screen.

Mic is pretty much broken in the mod right now, you can try installing the beta patch and see if that helps. Also use other programs like Skype or Teamspeak to verify if the problem is with the game itself or your mic.

Are you using Six-Updater by any chance ? Also what version of Arma 2 are you using ? (Both Arma 2 + OA on STEAM ?)

Before the latest patch there were 1000+ zombies on some servers. I once killed 70 on my own before I ran out of ammo, when I accidentally fired my weapon in a big town. Trust me, zombies are really dangerous when in groups. About PvP... while I agree with you that the ability to create squads and team up would be great I am totally against servers without any zombies. It would defeat the whole purpose of the game.

I'm not sure if it's true in the mod but if you hold SHIFT (sprint/boost) the vehicle may consume more fuel than normally.

Looks like some game files are missing/corrupted, update your GFX card drivers, redownload the game, verify the game files and try again. That's all I can think of right now.

It's a known bug caused by an object in game, try changing your ingame video settings for a temporary fix.

Yep, I also had to turn my volume up, couldn't hear anything.

It's full of bugs, doesn't work all the time, almost all of the core features are missing and servers are always full, nevertheless many people consider this the best zombie game ever made. I think that tells you something. If you are unsure why not check out various streams or videos around the web or on this forum. Even if it becomes a standalone game it will take some time. I'm pretty sure Rocket said he will work on this as a mod for Arma 2 for at least a few months. Decide for yourself.

Good idea, but instead of removing them you should be able to recharge batteries... but first you would need to find a working generator... and fuel... This way if you want hi-tech stuff you would need to really take care of it, it's not a matter of simply 'finding' things anymore but maintenance as well.

Yes, everything is saved in a master database, so you can safely exit/change the servers.

Redownload the mod, maybe some files were corrupted. Also try changing ingame audio settings like the number of samples.

Yes, retail versions are compatible with steam.

You will lack hi-res textures and may experience bugs if you are using the free version though.

You can download WinRar from the official website Trevorz. Just do a quick Google search. Capsup, are you using steam versions of Arma 2 AND OA? Is the game working fine without the mod ? Try playing a mission or two in singleplayer just to be sure.

I heard Rocket confirm that this is a bug and it should be (hopefully) fixed in the next patch.
