I'm pretty sure your character is tied to your CD-Key. It's impossible to change profiles using the same copy.

Try holding the left mouse button to throw flares instead of releasing it immedietly. 'L' key to turn the flashlight on/off. -

Right side of the screen changes only when you are about to pick up items that are lying on the ground. -
Losing gear and weapons through normal inventory use

It's always safer to drop items and make sure you have enough space before picking up anything new, especially weapons. -
Yes, when you 'abort' (disconnect), everything will be saved to the master database. You can join any server and you will keep the same character/gear. Tents and vehicles only save on the server you left them on though.

You can respawn (suicide) only when alive. Otherwise just exit to the player lobby and join back in to spawn as a new character. Change chat channels with ',' and '.' keys, to bring up the chat box use '/' key.

Known bug caused by an ingame object. You can keep changing video settings for a temporary fix and just hope it will get fixed in the next patch. http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=867&pid=8622#pid8622 http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=866&pid=8195#pid8195 EDIT: Also try redownloading "dayz_equip" file.

Few other people had the same issue, I don't know if anyone got it working. Try this in the meantime: - Update your GFX card drivers - Verify the game files - Redownload and re-install the mod - Redownload and re-install the game

Transparent closets and CBA_Main missing

1) Not sure about the invisible closets, if this is the only bug you're getting I wouldn't worry about it too much. 2) Yes, you can ignore "CBA_Main" message. -
Their AI will probably be horrible. I hope I'm wrong though, because the idea sounds awesome!

Actually when it says "Day #" it's counting all the time since your character was created including offline time, so it's not very accurate. We can only hope leaderboards will working again soon.

Lakes are kinda bugged now, you have to go deep enough until you begin to swim to refill the bottles. Be careful though, you can lose your backpack if you stay too long in the water. I suggest using the ocean/water wells instead, they work flawlessly.

Are you getting any errors when joining a server pollycranopolis ? As long as you see @dayz line in the main menu you should be good to go. -
You can find a tent (takes 3 spaces in your backpack) that you can set up and store items in. Tents only save on the server you set them up on but they remain there even after server restarts. - Delete MPMissionscache folder - Verify game files. Right click ARMA 2 in STEAM - 'Properties' - 'Local Files' - 'Verify integrity of game cache'. If that doesn't work delete and re-install the game ? -
