Strange.... How did you apply the beta? The "you can not play / edit this mission" - message.....Chernarus ?" is all ARMA files....not Dayz files...those pbo´s is located in your addons folder...both in ARMA2 and in OA. Compare those two addons folders....what difference? (time stamps)

What you see is different applications trying to list / show servers....they do this with different results because of many things. This takes network resources and application resources...them waiting for for the whole world answering there ping.... WHat I do is I use this link http://arma2.swec.se/server/list I find my server and ping myself.....then if i dont find that server listed, I use Remote connection button and give IP and port number. No need for you to open any ports in your router.

Make sure your latest pbo+bisign files are the ones used....seems like some of your pbo+bisign files are old...the ones complaining about.... Instead of copying one file by one...just use the addons folder that has the newest files.......if this doesnt work...then you have to reinstall and get those pbo+bisign files through install and updates. What we tried so far is a workaround so we dont have to make a whole reinstall, just yet.....

yes....they are a part of the .pbo files....copy those too

The Chernarus files... Search and find the newest in any addons folder.....do the procedure above and try.... Dont forget the corresponding bisign files...

And he´s complaining over the files in the ARMA2 addons folder.... Then we do a revert.... Rename addons folder in ARMA2 as backup....make a new addons folder.... Restore renamed addons folder in OA and copy those files to new addons folder in ARMA2.... Sense?

Ok, Try copy those .pbo files from ARMA2 addons folder to Operation Arrowhead addons folder, dont forget corresponding bisign files. Rename the addons folder in OA first and create a new one, then copy. ADDED: Wait...He says he´s missing files in ARMA2 addons folder.....are you sure you are running OA ?

You are running the ARMA2 OA Beta Patch exe right? your path should look something like this... \arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion -nosplash

Try run ARMA2 and OA as administrator each once into menu, this way games registry entrys gets legit......then load the mod....

Steam has nothing to do with it, keys has to be written to registry in the right way by ARMA

Not sure if you have loaded everything correct.... Please look in ARMA what ARMA has loaded or not, window before MP, right down corner. Dont trust other application on this for now.

How big difference in ping compared to friend? Sounds like your friend is desyncing out....ask friend to lower his graphical settings one bit, and se if any better. Also ask friend to defrag the HDD. He can use P in game and see how his desync looks like right then.
