Just got killed by a hacker near that camp. He teleported behind me, said "stay out of my camp bitch" and shot me. So they definitely have some hacks going on. I was looking behind me right when he teleported so I saw him just appear there. I would stay away if you want to live. Or wait til its empty.

It has a green laser that can only be seen with Night Vision. So at night time you can equip some NVG's, turn on the laser (push L), and then you can fire from the hip with deadly accuracy. Make sure your range it down to 100 when using the laser for killing zombies. Its range for killing players is about 500 tops. Anything past that is a crap shoot. It does range up to 800 but no way you're killing anyone that far away. Also the scope has a double zoom. Press num + to zoom in super far (same as rangefinder zoom).

Does your screen go black but you can still hear the game? This happened to me where my screen would go black but I was able to hit shift + num - and type flush. I just started experiencing freezes also after updating.

Ok now jeez. Before this turns into an all out flame war I just want to say this. I forgive you for killing me. Its part of the game. I was shooting your friend driving the URAL so you shot me and saved his life. I was killed on day 31 with like 250 hours of gameplay on that character. Yea I was kind of upset for a second, but thats dayz. I had fun lighting up the URAL with my pee shooter. I put about 30 bullets through the windshield of that URAL with my Bison SD and then about 100 more into the side of the truck lol. Then I got sniped because I obviously gave away my position. I should have just shot 1 clip and then logged off, but oh well. Im not mad, its a game and I had fun defending our camp to the death. After my death I met up with my group and got every single item back within 20 minutes. Im sorry we chased you down and killed half of you but you did steal our vehicles. I just wish your other guys didnt log out when we chased them down. Im am NOT a hacker and my little brother is DEFINITELY not a hacker lol. He hardly knows how to work a computer. This game is the first PC game lilchronic ever played in his life. Also... You think my account would have lasted 31 days if I was hacking? Hackers get banned almost weekly and then they just buy a new key for operation arrowhead and start hacking again. Rinse and repeat. If you guys wanna come back to our server bring it on. We can be enemies or allies. I don't give a flying fuck. I can promise you this though. More of you will die than us. In the words of Hitler... "ALT-F4ing Pussies!" Oh and btw dont listen to spec. Leaderboards actually dont count how many days but rather how many hours. I remember before it went down there was a hacker on there with 252 hours survived and he was number 1. Bluedot was his name If i remember correctly. Im on day 30 and I've played about 8 hours every day. give or take a few days where i only played maybe 2-3 hours.

Patch is looking good so far. I am now wearing a ghillie suit with ZERO issues and the teeny L85A2 AWS that was in my backpack grew to full size and is now usable!!! VERY HAPPY ABOUT THAT!! The zombies are a bit broken now though. We had a situation where there were 10-20 zombies around balota that were not moving. We could run right by them and they wouldnt chase us. We even drove a car right by them. They were all just stuck in place.

Ghillie suit and L85A2 AWS were both fixed completely for me on this patch. I am running 1.7.2.3/94876. My progress saves just fine. I still have all my zombie kills and gear every time I log on and off.

Got my L85A2 AWS back today with patch 1.7.2.3 and 94876 beta!! Stole some ghillie suits from a nearby tent and put one on and everything is good! Yesterday I had the baby L85A2 AWS (only took up 1 slot) in my backpack along with a m107, some ammo, meds, food and water. Upon logging in today I noticed the baby L85A2 AWS was now normal size and I still had the m107 in my bag as well but it deleted all of my ammo, food, and water. No big deal since my group and I have plenty extras.

If you're talking about the guy with the helmet then yes. That is a hacked in clothing from some =7cav= clan members we killed. One guy in our group put it on. The goggles he is wearing are actually available to anyone in the game. U can also change your character to black or white or asian or old and have face paint and all that stuff. All of that is totally legal.

Can any one confirm that the L85A2 AWS has been removed from the game? I have one on me but have not logged in yet. I am going to wait and see what happens. My character is like 150 hours, 25 dayz old. I also have the m107 in my backpack and I am wearing a ghillie suit. I will wait for a hotfix and hopefully save my weapons. -btw the laser on the L85A2 AWS is AMAZING!!! It's only visible with NVG's. -Chronic-

Hackers can purchase new cdkeys from a Taiwanese website for 6 bucks a pop. If they get banned they pop in the new key and continue playing. Same thing with an ip ban. If that happens all u need to do is change your ip address. Very easy things to do. Eventually the hacks will probably be completely undetectable. There is nothing u can do about it.

I have about 12 friends in my group and they all have nvg's, gps, rangefinders. 2 of us have the L85A2 AWS. The rest of us have m107's, MK 48's, and AS50's. Most of this stuff was found at other camps on other servers. Check out my screenshots on steam.
