Is it possible to make more zombies spawn? i feel like editing the events.xml doesnt do anything. I encountered 4 zombies as soon as i spawned but then not a single one even in small towns. they are easy to kill so i would like to get a few more into the game Edit: i saw some reddit post about that but that included editing some packed pbo addon files and repack them that seemd a little sketchy idk

@smasht s way of doing it was exactly what i found on reddit but it didnt had an effect. it also feels kinda sketchy. why do we have to edit those addon files ? nothing seems to help either way

Using a SQLite editor, i can see Id, Lock, Alive, UID and Data. I assume Data is the loadout, position, status of the player etc but its a BLOB type. Converted to binary its just a comma seperated list of integers. Does anyone know what which integer stands for?

m8 thats the most unhelpful comment ever. i am facing the same problem and "start the server via a .bat file" is not helping either apart from also beeing extremly vague. @EVERYDAYG4MING it shouldnt matter at all from where its started.

I am waiting so long now for that files. I want an answer for when they will be released! Hosting my own local server is everything i miss in that damn game ( exept for more cars .. you get the point) Is there a date? Dev plzzz even gaben want an answer.

* sorry for the "cosing" mistake in title Hello there, i just installed DayZ via Steam and every time i want to join a server this text is in the left corner "BE Service not running - closing game to start installation". Then the game just restart in the main menu. this happens every time when im joining a server. I tried: - search for corrupted files via steam - deleted the %localappdata%\dayz folder - restarted steam as administrator - started dayz.exe as administrator - started dayz_be.exe as administrator - i also installed vcredist 32x and 64x version. when i installed dayz last time i had no erros. so what can i do ? :s best regards, Slluxx
