I'm not so worried about my loot stash being accessible only to my friends and myself, if somebody comes across it then it's theirs, end of story, I would just like to have a "homebase" setup in the public hive so when I die, I can grab my stash and continue fighting the douchers. Plus when pers gets fixed and more PvE starts happening, I dont want to be limited on loot just because my private shard "runs out." I'm one of the founders for Welcome to the Jungle, and we've been toying around with the idea of a private shard, whitelisting is something thats attractive to us. The only way we can think of to have our cake and eat it too, is basically have 2 copies of the game, but that's silly IMHO.

We had a hang up yesterday after 45 min of a restart, it just so happened to coincide with me killing somebody, I generally wouldn't have thought anything about it except the server had just restarted and this guy had literally just fallen to the ground. I hope people haven't figured out a restart exploit, he had 2 buddies with him...server was full though so I'm not sure. SMoss said in another thread they were releasing a hot fix for .54 today, fingers crossed.

If you have Dart installed you can view their GUID, that way you can specify exactly who you want to ban

I know it doesn't help much right now, but when persistence is fixed, keep an eye open for another Welcome to the Jungle server, we will have it open to the public most of the time, but occasionally we plan to password protect it for special events, and we will do our best to let players know when it will happen so you can get all your stuff packed up. Hang in there!

As far as the admin logs go, we can see when a player has been killed by another player (most of the time) but when you die from a fall or zed or starvation or even if you're unconscious from a gunshot and die that way, the admins cannot see those types of deaths even with the logs

I wonder if maybe the scheduling put forth by our GSP is conflicting with BEC? perhaps syncing fragnet schedule with BEC might fix the issue?

So...This -malloc=system does anybody have any more info? What exactly is it doing? I understand it changes the memory allocation, but does it improve the FPS notably?

When you have the double carry glitch, especially with a weapon, check the original place you picked up said weapon or switched it from primary to hand held...If you happen to be close to said position.

Everything needs to render at the same distance, except for maybe grass. I can't count how many times I thought I was "hiding" within a bush and my buddy spotted me with no trouble...and I'm over here like wtf??? Where did the bush go? If I have a full ghillie and I'm prone on a hillside, completely hidden to players within my eyesight but yet a new spawn can spot me while he advances on a town ie elektro and gives my position away etc. That seems broken to me
