TTsKO Jacket TTsKO Pants Yellow Working Boots Repeater (With Ammo) CR75 (With Magazine, Which Has Ammo, And Is Almost Empty) Orange Drybag (Food, Medical Supplies, ETC.) Jeez, I didn't realize this post was THAT old. That explains why people on the first few pages were complaining about finding no loot. I guess I was supposed to post a picture too. This is awkward.

Lol! That video was actually pretty entertaining! Make moar!

Np, bro, anytime. :)

Normal would be best, and to get decent frames, try high, but there's always that risk of it shutting down if you go above normal. You should be good with high though, just don't go any higher.

I got Windows 7, but here, check this out: http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/23830-processor-priority-level-set-processes-windows-8-a.html

Did you alter the DayZ Task Priority? If you set it to "Real-Time" or even "Very High", your computer could shut down immediately to prevent fires.

Plus, it would add a use for the guns that you keep, besides shooting other players or self-defense.

Make either more experimental servers, or lessen the restart time of experimental servers.

I like experimental. It's fun to see what we're gonna see in the near future. But, the restart times! 8 hours. That means that whenever you join a server (most have 50/50), it's all gonna be looted! I understand that experimental is moreso for the developers than anyone else, and that if I don't like it, then I need to "get over it" because it's "experimental". I know. I know it's experimental, but I still want to play it. I even PM'd a developer on here (which I later found out I wasn't supposed too. "Oh, that's awkward", I said to myself) about it. I suggest that we either make more experimental servers, or lessen the restart times to an hour, or two. -
So there's like, 5 conditions: Pristine Worn Damaged Badly Damaged Ruined I think there should be different "degrees" or "levels" of these conditions. Ex: Pristine Level 1: 100% healthy, no visible damage, operates perfectly. Pristine Level 2: Visible scrapes/marks, mostly reliable Pristine Level 3: Semi-damaged, will work 90% of the time. And have that be for all conditions. Good idea or bad? What do you think?

Different "levels" of item conditions.

Nope. My mind is perfectly normal. As a matter of fact, my mind is pristine. -
Different "levels" of item conditions.

...how I basically interpreted your message. It's not making it complicated, moreso just in-depth, there's a difference. And it would tell you if it's "Level 2" or whatever if you "Inspect" it. Once again, not damaged like damaged, damaged like Pristine Level 2. -
I don't think the developers will do anything special, but I'll take some chemlights and throw them at that tree in the middle of the road, if that counts. :)

Some DayZ Facts About You...
cheeseburger8 replied to cheeseburger8's topic in New Player Discussion
I've never played the mod. -
Base building, is your first suggestion. That was in the DayZ Mod. It will be implemented later in development. Turrets, I think, is your second suggestion. That sounds cool. Zombie raids? Like, zombies come out from the forest and attack towns? That would be cool, and would give a use for guns, besides fights w/ other players. That would be nice. I would prefer if it was random. Quests is your last suggestion. They have another DayZ Mod, called Epoch, which, I think, had quests. Or just random events, like in GTA V. I always thought that this game should have NPCs, and they had voice recognition, so you could ask if they were friendly using your real voice. You could also tell them to out their hands up, etc. But that'll probably never happen, considering if you ever bring anything... ANYTHING... up on these forums, concerning AI, people will non-stop scream at you. So be careful. :) All in all, I like these suggestions! :)

Anytime.

Going with what Caboose said, it will start a NEW character, but on Experimental ONLY. When you switch back to Stable branch, you will have your Stable character back. So don't be alarmed when Experimental starts a new character, b/c when you switch back, you'll still have your old character.

Experimental Branch: 0.51 Discussion

Strange, no experimental servers are showing up for me. No V3S for me, it looks like. -

Interesting. I didn't know that. Thanks. -

So, say I join a server, in Novo. I go to the Clocktower, and there's nothing there. If I come back to that same area in about 25 minutes, new loot will be there? That's what persistence is? I thought persistence was when a player drops something, the server restarts, and that said item was still there even after the restart. -
I use YouTube's video editor. It's simple. www.youtube.com/editor Mostly used for piecing clips together, adding music, all the basic stuff.

Hey, there is a guide on these forums helping people to "enhance" their FPS. I have done everything or near everything that the guide has told me to, and now I'm getting a "Session Lost" after I join a server. Every server. Any solutions?

Some DayZ Facts About You...

Some about me, I do better fist-fighting zombies than with actual melee weapons. HC's pretty fun, it might be more fun than regular imo. My most commonly found gun is the SKS. -
Some DayZ Facts About You...
cheeseburger8 replied to cheeseburger8's topic in New Player Discussion
Some are saying they've never fired/found an M4. Let me be the first to tell you, they're nothing special. They kill in 1-2 hits, and that's it. The iron sights are horrid. If you're gonna use an M4, get one of those handy-dandy RV1-RDS Optics. -
How many of you have been killed by how "robotic" your characters move? Ex: Someone tells you to put your hands up, and you do. You try to knock them out, and in order to do that, you have to put your hands down, right? Well, the DayZ guy always takes, like, 5 seconds to put his hands down, giving said bandit to take you out before you can do anything. Since this game wants to be so "realistic", I think that the developers need to make the movements more natural. I think in real life, I would put my hands down faster, my fists up faster, and I would prevail. Who agrees?
