We've had our server for a few months, we've been trying different providers in order to make sure our players are getting the best experience possible. All of our rules, including admin policies, can be found on our site SASUnity.com. Check us out for more detailed information. Our admins are active and eager to help with any questions, comments, or complaints you might have. Unfortunately our Youtube channel isn't very active at the moment, maybe you can help us change that. We look forward to meeting you STANAG. Visit us on TeamSpeak @ TS3.SASUnity.com. We have admins, game leads, and captains on t almost all hours of day or night. If you like what you see just fill out an app and you'll be accepted as a trial member in no time. Join us any time survivor!

We prefer players of 16 years or older. We can make an exception if a player is younger as long as they are mature enough to follow the rules we have posted on our forums. Check them out here. Come on TS and look for someone ranked captain or higher.

You never know what kind of person is actually doing the scanning. If they decide to try to find info on my PayPal account they would access to where my pay check is deposited. Besides, it says it can scan memory, game files, and related system files. If the scan is legit there is nothing they can find even if the user is doing something shady. Beyond that, if I'm doing something shady that's my damn business and no one has the right to tell me otherwise.

I thnk it's really sad that you have to explain this over and over, but I understand why you do it. There are plenty of warnings and indications that this is not a complete game and that it won't be for some time. I really respect the work you guys are doing, and not just because I understand how the development process works. The problem is that every time you defend your position on the development cycle there are more people criticizing what you have to say. Maybe if people saw what this game started from in the first place they would understand how impressive the progress has been so far.

Steam is having a sale on Arma II Complete Collection. For those interested in seeing where the standalone started from this is a great deal. Normally the Complete Collection is just under fourty dollars, right now you can buy it for a little under eight dollars.

I would like to see an option to hide the feedback messages, similar to hitting the tilde (~) key to hide the quick bar. I like to take screen shots when I see something cool in game. Seeing all those messages popping up kind of ruins the shot. It's even worse when the server has those red messages popping all the time. If I could just hit a key to hide them for about thirty seconds I would be able to get those perfect screen shots that I want.

The random respawn point is in place because in general that's the best way to handle respawning. If there were fixed locations for spawn it would just give griefers a new way to bother people. Having the respawn delay proportionately with the last life cycle is kind of bogus. WHat if I stay alive for a week straight? Should I have to wait a week to play again? A thirty second respawn delay is perfect, along with the random respawn point. Anything else would be unfair and too complicated to do any good for new spawns that need to learn a lesson or fully geared players that should have shot someone that was being a dick.
-
I love the idea of getting kicked from a server for thirty minutes on death, but having to wait thirty minutes to spawn? Who would play this game if they were forced to wait thirty minutes between playing? People that are being dicks for no reason other than they have nothing to lose should be kos, plain and simple.

I have the exact opposite problem. I hear people eating from two miles away. I'm constantly hearing ammo being loaded, that shit makes me paranoid for like half and hour after I hear it. Not cool.

*=SAS=* We'll leave the light on for you.

It would just make sense to remove them in hardcore altogether. If the point of hardcore is a more immersive experience it's kind of ruined by a "I'm feeling hungry message" every five minutes.

For some people the best way to survive is to make sure there is no one else to compete with. If that means eliminating all the good gear and food then so be it. I don't agree with it, but I don't get mad every I get KOS'd. The reason all these kids are playing this game right now is because it's so easy. Once all the features are added and it's harder to survive there won't be many kids on to ruin the xperience for everyone else.

If an item in your inventory is ruined you should have an option other than just dropping it. If it gets dropped it should be on a timer that makes them disappear. Once a player drops a ruined item it would just make sense that it vanishes after ten minutes or so. If it's been dropped on the ground no one is going to pick it up. The same goes for unwanted items. The only time I organize my pack is in the middle of the woods. Who's searching for cans of beans in the middle of the woods? Being able to destroy items would be a good way to help server performance. Servers would run smoother and people could empty junk loot out of buildings to make room for more loot to spawn.
-
Maybe it is just an option that some servers don't have on, but I'm referring more to an option to simply destroy an item without having to bother dropping. It would be a great way to simply dispose of items without leaving a trail. I can tell when someone has been in an area because they dropped ruined items. I could also see this being a good way to make loot spawn. By emptying out all the junk loot in a building more items will spawn eventually. Maybe even being able to recover some of the materials from an item would work too. For instance being able to destroy a ruined gun and use parts to repair a damaged gun.
-
I'm not sure that anything like that is in effect. I've dropped ruined rags only to come back to the same area two hours later to see the same rags. I think you might have dropped an item and someone else picked it up liquidcactus. I might be wrong but from what I've seen those items stay around for a long time.
