    Uh, There Were A LOT Of Zombies Last Night

    Yes. My observations from last night about zeds grouping: Zeds now have something like hive mind, and they do seems communicate with each other somehow telepathically. They see you from about 500 meters, and alert others nearby, from about next 500 meters from them, which means 1000 meters from you. On running to you to kill you they tend to form a proper mob group. Not always, sometimes. When attack they try to hit you both, at the same time, simultaneously. Not always, sometimes, but its deadly. Zeds attack range seems been reduced from previous 20 meters, to 3 - 5 meters. Hard to say, due to lags desync and all that. So now I try to separate the group by sprinting thru obstacles, and shoot one zed at a time, from distance, and immediately sprint further, to prevent immediate aggroed zeds respawn. Melee strife against zeds group didn't work for me, may be I did it wrong, still.

    I grew tomatoes!

    Grown tomatoes and digged plots disappear on server crash or restart. Not persistent. You can grow tomatoes without lime, just hoe/shovel and seeds. To harvest tomatoes you need empty space in inventory, you harvest whole bush, not each tomato one by one. So if you have 4 empty inventory slots, harvest 13 fresh tomatoes, you have got only 4, tomato bush disappear, 9 tomatoes lost forever, and not found on the ground around. Did build sanctuary outpost with food water and fire last night, with mixed results.

    Bone Condition

    When Wobo's video came out, that were hundreds questions about it, here on forum, and on reddit as well, to the devs, about it. There were no single answer from anybody, none, nada, complete silence. Only once, on twitter, Brian responded to tweet from another high executive, not a player, about the issue. He said its a WIP. I am just stating the true facts, nothing else. After those two events, I started walking The Path of True Hero to get the Prime for this whole mystery issue.     Bone Condition

    No. There is some truth behind Wobo's bone condition, no doubt. And I am talking how to get it. Effect of instant death when on full health and blood from very minor damage, which doesn't make any sense, was real problem, and did exist in 0.49, due to 0.49 Hit Points accumulative effect. Wobo's bone condition is wrong explanation for this effect. Prime is the way to get true explanation for this mysterious effect, true way, how to get real truth about Hit Points and all the rest real stats in DayZ SA 0.50 stable.

    Prime is not made up, just very hard to get, to get it, all you need is walk The Path of True Hero. I already pointed for the first step, and this path is the only way I know to get Prime. If you don't walk The Path, you may say whatever you want, it no matter. Nothing personal, it is what it is. Also, warning, The Path of True Hero is very physiologically uncomfortable at first, but after some steps, you see things clear, for what it really is. So do not enter The Path, if you scared, and want to stay in denial.

    I use prime info, and there are no need for no links, so, yes, your scepsis is understandable. I don't know the way Wobo came up with his magical condition, so I am positively 100% sure, I used quiet different way, so, no, my way is the way of true Hero. On a serious note, just check PM.

    Howdy folks, sorry for delay. In .50 if the so called "Bone Condition" stat has NOT been changed, see explanation below. Instant-death while up on a 2-story or 3-story building has NOT been changed. Health/injury system have been changed a bit, not drastically, just a little, see explanation below. Leg breaking bug though it still seems to happen from time to time, yes. Someone posted a video about bone condition, that was Wobo video, about Spinal Fracture, "The Bone Condition Stat | Why Zombies One-shot Players in #DayZ." Personally bonesnap thinks bone health should be removed from the game altogether, thats just simply impossible, see explanation below. Current 0.50 stable player has following persistent stats: blood health shock body temperature exposure blood type feet energy water stomach heat comfort diet zombies killed players killed bleeding sources unconscious notifiers Hit Points: Head, Body, Hands, Legs and Feet (with a few different attributes each) wet penalties Compare with .49 one stat was removed, synchronized temperature. Which in turn means: "Bone Condition" stat has NOT been changed, coz it does not exist, that means nothing to change. Spinal Fracture for Bone Condition Stat does not exist, so that means it can not be removed, due to non-existence. I don't know why Wobo come up with Bone Condition Stat in his video in first place. However, effect of instant death when on full health and blood from very minor damage, did exist in 0.49, due to 0.49 Hit Points accumulative effect. Hit Points are totally separate from blood and health. 0.49 Hit Points been used in damage assessment and persistently accumulate overall damage, never regen or reset for current spawn life. Hit Points been initialized only at new spawn after previous death. In 0.49 accumulation was done thru RV Poseidon engine© 1997 generic damage, which in turn was causing insta-death when reached critical limit. During 0.49 every day few players reported this effect in slightly different but yet similar situations. In 0.50 overall damage assessment seems to be was corrected. I didn't do sufficient testing yet, but since 0.50 release I don't remember single insta-death complain, which is good. I think ) In 0.50 Hit Points are much more developed than ever before, they are everywhere when any type of damage occur. So insta-death on full health issue coming to its natural end. There are still many other reasons for insta-death in .50, like stairs/ladders death bug. Any questions?

    All hail to fellow Hero! No, they didn't fix it. Mosin sway is very heavy. Still, you can hit at 700-800m stationary zed head at least half of the time, with Mosin+LRS+comp, before zed starts running zz to kill you. You have exactly only one attempt to make headshot, and about half of second to do it right. It is what it is .... Off: so I am building sanctuary for now. You know, for good people. Those who arrive .... survive this time. For real.

    1. Its not a bug. 2. There are no bone health bug. 3. There are no spine bone. 4. So there are no deterioration, because there are nothing to deteriorate. 5. They don't snap causing instant death, because they don't exist. However milk shake from powdered milk and water was suggested many many many times before by many many many people. In great variety, boiled, with rice, canned spaghetti, etc. Now please let me make it crystal clear for you, so you can understand. In DayZ 0.49 there was an effect of instant death when on full health and blood from very minor damage. It is believed was first discovered and published by Wobo in his famous video. In this video he suggested explanation, as spinal bone sudden fracture, which is entirely wrong. Again, effect existed, Wobo explanation was unfounded. I don't know why he did it. I did try contact him, didn't happened. Why Wobo explanation is wrong: because there are no any variables in DayZ, persistent or not, about any spinal bone, or any spinal fracture. None. Why an effect of instant death when on full health and blood from very minor damage did exist ? There are 5 persistent Hit Points for players and zombies: Head, Body, Hands, Legs and Feet.     Infection HELP

    Wound Infection stage 2 with messages "My wounds are infected","I have infected wounds", inventory notifier "sick", loosing water blood health. Treatment: Clean Wounds with Alcohol Tincture, 1 or more times, should see message "My wounds are clean now". (orcz didn't post all recent messages, you need to see end message, after applying several times sometimes)

    fireplace not working ! help please (.50)

    Message "I cannot ignite the fireplace, its not safe" means you on top, or just too close. Try move a bit, in position where Ignite option first appear. Stones in fireplace are optional.

Based on some hard encounters, Infected Already Old Spawned Zombie*** Activation Base Distance, the distance which to activate zombies and make them move around. 500 meters horizontal, from current payer position, x-y only, -z elevation doesn't count. Please confirm/disregard, based on your experience. *** Already Old Spawned Zombie - zeds already pre-spawned on server restart, and just waiting for you, as opposite to new spawned zed within player proximity presence.

    I am overheating

    Heavy Hyperthermia with message "I am hyperthermic", you loose 2 base water/sec, with current thirst multiplier. Btw, player base thirst, how much per second a healthy player needs to drink to stay normal at rest, was elevated about 4 times higher, compare to 0.49. And no, being hydrated not help you to cool off, it has no affect on matter. 2Judopunch: I do have all the proof you may need/want, PM me if interested.

    I'd say, absolutely worth. There are 2 end-games now: - survive 100 heavy hits from zeds. - find out how to talk to people without getting killed.

    Yes and no. They called just differently, and usually 4-5 times bigger than average US county, due to less quantity of native Russian people, and more Russian Land, than original native american chinise people land. So Dry County with Cholera and FEV Mk. III infection is valid way to put it. imho.

    Dry wells may be move towards Cholera. messages "I feel cold","I start to shiver","I feel shivery","I'm shivering","I feel exhausted","I feel extremely tired","I feel a rumble in my bowels","I just soiled myself", and you loose 12 water/sec, and 3 blood/sec.

    Messages "My feet hurt","My feet are sore" means you are loosing 10 health/sec. You may want to stop and repair your boots, or change to new spare ones, or start looking for new pair. If you stop and not moving, you not loosing health, so you can wait your crew bring you some to save you. Funny thing, even you are crawling, with your legs horizontal, and no terrain pressure on feet/boots, you still loosing health. I didn't get it why, but. bh.

    OP Subj: no, its really not. wow 20 min, cmon man, you got really lucky here, 20 min. On stable ( I assume you on stable too) I have got usually 12-15 min tops. On a serious note here: on .49 stable there is a semi-reliable way do exist to deal with any environment conditions as new spawn, without server-hopping, and from any spawn location. I am not gonna spoil it for you, figure it all out is part of the fun, I don't want to steal it from you. If you still wanna spoils, lookup my other posts on subj, and connection to Hit Points.

    Can no longer die of hunger?

    With Medium Hypothermia message "I am freezing" energy base loss is 1.6, with multiple multipliers on top, could go up to estimated 20 - 25 (or more?) /sec. Maxed energy bright green "energized" 4000 could be drained fast, down to nothing, so you do need eat more often. So some randoms may be due to environment/clothes/bodytemperature etc.

    Message "I'm unable to do that now" used in check if player is able to do action (if he isn't on ladder or swimming etc. or any other type of animation), so basically check if player is in proper position to do action. In this check there is no condition on energy, water, stomach, heatcomfort, or diet. (This check is actual Dean code, so its solid ground.) So could you please recall where exactly, what position, outside, or in building, etc., did you try to eat and what?

    >> In short - if you are out of Hit Points, even with full bright green health/blood, any tiny damage, like simple walk on ground floor in a building, or ladder, can kill you instant. That was meant to be short explanation for new players, what are Hit Points, and what are Hit Points effects.

    One moisin shot to body kill?

    Hi, I am Paxom, and I am sick of it for the last week, very weak, high temp fever, sore sand throat, heavy coughing, itchy eyes tears, poor vision and thinking, red huge irritated nose, nonstop snot and sweat, heavy headache, all shit. I am not bleeding yet. I think I didn't drink any blood recently, may be bitten by some mosquito, but dunno. On OP: 0.50 stable didn't happened today, so 0.49 stable still actual. For the sound of it, jukaga was killed one shot due down of his Hit Points, not any spinal fracture or anything. There are no any spinal bone fracture variables in 0.49 stable DayZ game code. And Hit Points variables are everywhere in .49st, where any type of physical damage present, in every event, handler, modifier, etc., in persistent block, its very pervasive.     wtf instant death?

As for your particular case, please provide additional info context. Could you please provide description of events, leading to your sudden death, and were you on full blood/health ? Also, any estimations, how many hours were in your life, how much accumulated damage did you take from zeds, how many shoots, how many times were your arms/legs broken, how many splints did you use, how many time did you bleed, were you hit by zeds from distance greater than 10m while sprinting, or from another floor than you are in a building, death was on stairs, ladders, or 2nd/3rd floor in what building, 0.5 fall damage, etc. Any even little clue may be very useful.
