if you like to play hardcore i highly recommend oldschool hardcore dayz, active admins ingame and on forums, website chat incase you have something urgent, n4ttl (server admin) is almost always there. only requires forum register and guid. (so far, it will change soon)

i cant remember when i last lost my character, always just make sure till its 1 minute up, you can see that on the time in the server list, depends on the server but most servers nowadays start at 14:00, look what is more important to you, being first on the server after a restart, or have everything you collected and join 1 minute later? do the math...

anyone claiming having stable +50fps in cities like electro cherno or other bigger cities is pretty much lying and just trying to brag, unless they play the game from the NASA computer centre or some secret high tech underground base from nsa/cia/etc... and im not even kidding, theres just no way at this current state of the game

im almost sure that he thinks there are seperate dayz sa's, one is early access alpha and then he thinks theres a finished game, which he described as "normal mode". with "now i just cant play" he is mad at the experience he already got with the alpha?

Nighttime makes zero sense to me at the moment, it definetely needs to be setup properly as everyone now can join a nighttime server, pull his gammar up and boom - nightvision - it just doesnt make sense right now. a player would have to setup his video settings before he joins a server so he cant just pull his gammar up when its getting night...

not sure if it was ever discussed so excuse if a topic like this already exists, my idea is for the late stages of development on this game, like next year (2016) maybe. or maybe the devs already have that in mind? let me know. right now everyone knows crashsites just spawn somewhere, my idea is about an actual flying damaged helicopter that is pretty much about go crash, imagine you are somewhere in dolina or stary or even zeleno, suddenly you hear a helicopter from some direction you can see the smoke trail from far away and the next thing you hear is a more or less loud boom depending how far away you are, a flying heli should pick up some attention from others, the heli might even flew over novo, and dragged all the players in one direction: where the heli is about to crash. what do you think?

yea when it works, it shows it, but sometimes it can be buggy and just doesnt show it, like the broken arm bug.

you sure it takes this long? last and first time it happened to me i started a fire and it pretty much instantly went away, it didnt take a minute

its a bug, you are actually freezing but it doesnt show it, start a fire and watch it go away.

i'd find it better if they removed "hide body" option and just added "drag body" so you can actually hide it, drag the body somewhere in a bush or a pond :p

he said he wanted to go east to the shore and i knew nowhere near east is that "ball on a stick thingy" except for khelm but theres no gas station near enough so i assumed he ran west instead of east and ended up so far west :D

well eugene did say servers go down IN 30 mins for the patch so... if you bought this game and dont follow the devtracker (dont worry, 80% of the people dont) then i think its your own fault, its a WIG, any update can come at any time

dayz is not the type of game where you can expect like: "ok ill rest in this house for a few mins, eating and inventory sortout and stuff, think none saw me so i cant get shot here" thats already the wrong way to think, always expect everything at any given time, a pixel wide opening in the window can get you shot if you are unaware of your surroundings, never expect to be alone in a city, always expect and try to spot snipers around the town you are in because if you dont you are just running into his bullet and the dude prolly runs to your dead body so quick just to laugh at you before the 30secs run out. just always think 1 step ahead.... these are just those basic shooter game rules that "shouldnt" even be considered in a game like dayz, but, there are just these types of cod and bf players in this game, which make these basic rules actually relevant in dayz, so use that damn knowledge...

i would believe that because currently almost everybody moved to exp now since it has vehicles, but the day before yesterday i was on stable on a server that isnt as popular as EXP is right now with "220 join requests per second" and the same thing happened on there. i dont and cant believe that.

are you fn kidding me, how can the invisible zombies bug still be around?!? how is that bug something they havent fucking fixed yet?!?! that is a gamebreaking bug which is around for so fucking long already?! the whole exp uk 5 or so is plagued by fucking invisible zombies wow is that sad................ and i have to face my death because i cant even bandage without zombies hitting me, stuff like that MUST be #1 priority and not fucking vehicles.

Who was that just in the truck on uk01 on the road to msta ? i was the bambi with the roadflare (was a fitting moment)? unfortunately my game crashed but thanks for stopping :D

there is a bug that doesnt show your fracture even tho your arm is broken/in pain, not too many people know this bug, you should look into that.

Page up/down was the default setting for me and its not only for the longrage scope, you can almost "zero" every weapon

do you think painkillers would fix the broken arm bug? maybe the broken arm bug could just be some hidden "my arm is in pain" i will try that today and post it here.
