I think that this will defiantly slow down the whole process of gearing up and surviving. Especially when barricading is in place. Then people will want to build there bases. And for most that will be there main objective. People will be much more careful since if they die, they can't access there base. Unless they loot there old body of corse. A random spawn for cars will also help with this. With random I mean literally random. They should pretty much be able spawn anywhere in my opinion. I'm pretty exited for this since that is how I try to play it now. Not with the barricading part, but in a slow past kinda way. Walking from town to town, looking for supplies. Maybe I stop inside a house to take cover from the rain. These kinda things is what DayZ should be about. Surviving and to be as healthy as possible. Not to go on a killing spree in Electro or Cherno

Poeple are so lazy, like com on. The devs probably don't whant an auto-run feature in the game for a valid reason, like some one here said. Just press the button and hold it down. It's not that much problem

Yeeeah suure ;) I think you only press "empty vessel" if there's anything in it in the first place. Then you fill it on a gas thingy on the gas stations. After that you kill someone with it xP

Play on a RP server and create your own character who has the most annoying and high pitch voice people have ever heard. Hopefully you won't get killed...

This already works with gas I think. And it works prett much the same

No official words as far as I know. Chris said something about it on his inviroment thred. But he only said that the work with it was going fine. Think they're a bit hush hush about it so people won't get any fals hopes. And they have a right to do that thinking of those in the community who still thinks DayZ already should be finished (even though it's an alpha stage). They probably want to avoid people raging when it finally releases

Well this is a feature that should go for all objects. It just means a more complex inventory system, which DayZ needs in my opinion. So while your right. There has to be a limit so you can't for example put a Mosin inside a taloon backpack since it wouldn't fit. Which you can see by the obvious size difference. Short said. Agreed :P
