It will probably be added something like this when percistant containers, or what ever you call them, makes it in to the game. Still though. I like the idea

I feel like I don't really care if it gets implomented or not. I know that a lot of people want it, and I can see why. So if the devs wants it in the game, then I'm all for it and I'm supporting them all in I guess. Aerial transport seems to be a kind of "end game" goal. Finding a plane and get of that goddamn island x)

There is one thing that you need to understand about the standalone version of DayZ. It's hardcore. Simple right? Stop whining now. Soon we won't find even one can of beans after several searches for it. The devs have stated that in the end. You WILL have to be carefully of what and when you eat, because you might not find anything at all, food wise, during one play session. That is why they think that the hunting and cooking aspect of the game is so important.

Basically what this guy said. They are infected with some sort of rage virus that causes them to attack all living things around them. And since they're not dead, they need to eat. But it's not there priority. We all know though that "DayZ is your story" ect. But I think that this is what's somwhat official

Press tab and see if you can pick it up via the inventory system. Item are currently bugged sometimes so you can't pick them up at all. There are several tricks for that to. But try tab first!

So I was searching around in my garage today and I found a small backpack which I have, for a while now, thought would fit in DayZ. You will see on the pictures down below that it is quite small. But you can actually fit a decent amount of stuff in it. At the moment for example I have a foldable fishing rod in it. Anyways. My idea is that this backpack should have maybe 18-22 slots. Here are the three pictures I meanaged to take on my own. One of them doesn't show the backpack that well. But it should show how it should be hanging on your shoulder so to speak. This backpack is a high - civilian grade item. So it should not be rarer than the child briefcase. As you might see on the pictures, there are a few places were you can hang seperate items on to it. So if hanging stuff on to items gets implomented in the game, then that's an obvious option To sum this up. This backpack is a civilian grade item who hangs on only one shoulder (that detail is only for the art side of the game). It should have maybe 18-22 slots and finally. It is a awesome looking civilian backpack in my opinion! So would you guys want this thing in the game, or do you simply not care? (Final thing. This is obviously not a priority!)

I personally think that the rocks looks a lot better right now, and I don't think they need any improvements. Maybe some more variants with different textures to fit the different environments they're in. But other then that, I don't think they need to change anything!

My guess would be at the prison island. It seems like everybody is there at the moment since that is the newest place on the map... Kind of

I agree with you fully. While this had been suggested numerous times. I don't think people can begg for it enough. This is something that we need in DayZ because of the reasons you mentioned. Unfortunatly though, one of the devs said that we probably wont see this either until the full game, or not at all because of clipping issues. I really hope though that they find away to bypass this!

Well my guess would be because the mosin doesnt support bipods. Its from 1891 so yeh. Its a matter of time before the long range will not fit anymore too... *sadu facu*

There will come more in dept cooking mechanics. They have already started as you should've seen in the 0.53 patch. Just wait and see. The devs seam to really want this too

I would really like to be able to have hoods in DayZ. Unfortunately though, they have said that there probably wont be any hoods because of, as you mentioned, clipping issues:/ Lets hope for it cause that would look really cool ain't gonna lie :P

This was just an amazing story! I am confident that the devs will manage to pull this off! They know what they are doing, but they don't have the tools to do it... Yet! With the new renderer and engine over all in the game, they can finally do what they want pretty much!

"This is DayZ. This is your story" There won't be a campaign for DayZ as it's support to be player-created only and Multiplayer only. That is the idea of the game/simulation. The story is ment to be created by the player, and the player only. There will probably not be a back story created by the devs either, or a main objective that you are suppose to complete to finish the game. The only thing you have is to survive as long as possible.

An other shot I took during my latest play session before it unfortunately crashed again. DayZ can look really good!
