Most streamers will have tweaked their settings, I have this spec; i5-3570k @ 4.2Ghz 16GB Ram @ 1600mz GTX770 4GB i only get 30FPS in main cities but the tweaking helped alot so give it a shot

What do they actually do during 'Maintenance' do they fix bugs or anything like that? Just to point out the servers are dire at the minute, takes about 5 hours to get a gun out.

Well for a start i lost my character (luckily didn't have much) but now every server i join it says WARNING can't connect to central hive now this is on ALL servers i try to join (around 10 server) and all have the same warning, is this a global thing or just me?

The wells have have stopped working since the 0.50 patch, i have tried several wells and none of them work i can't drink or fill up my canteen. I apologize if this has already been mentioned.

I apologize. Now onto the real thing, will there be a hot fix for this or are we going to have to suffer for a month+?

Yeah well whenever i log into ANY server it says this, Yes i did lose my character once but i've been on the same character now for a while and still not lost him. When you say it's a known bug do you mean the text is or is it actually losing connection?

Another nooby questions from myself (sorry to be a pain) I seem to come across more 'damaged' & 'badly damaged' items more than anything else now i'm sure you can repair things but i really don't have a clue how or what repairs what, does anyone have a guide that tells you what repairs what? thanks

I know this has probably been discussed around one million times but i can't find anything fairly recent. I know it's early alpha aswell i'm not slating the game as i think it's fantastic. Firstly i want to tell you about my 'rig' Intel i5 3570K @ 4.2Ghz 16GB RAM @ 1600mhz Nvidia GTX770 Now i guess that's all you need to know about my 'rig, now the problem i have is crazy frame drops in major cities, let's take Novo for example. Now i've fiddled with some settings and followed some guides and some do work but when i do change them the distance i can see is very poor (clay looking buildings) but it does run better. What i want to know is can i get max FOV with fully textured buildings and still high high fps? is there anything to change to get good FPS? Also what do you guys have your config settings at and what in game settings work well? Thanks for reading

Yeah all games i can smash ultra settings just dayz struggles in the cities just wondered if there was anything i could do as i didn't think everyone would be playing with 22 fps

I've notcied that 0.50 has been on ecperimental servers for a bit of time now was just wondering the timescale on when they put them on public servers?

Are any of the persistence servers working? i never seem to come across anything like this http://i.imgur.com/z2ZKDVY.jpg I've tried alot of servers and i never find crazy amounts of loot like this, is it still a little buggy or am i just not as lucky as this guy?

Am i right in thinking that there is more loot on higher populated servers? for example if i join a server that has 5 people in will the loot be the same in a server with 35 people in?

Can you hunt animals on this game to gather food? Also i chopped down a tree last night and got some wood to make a fire and i had a matchbox but it didn't seem to want to work how do you make a fire? I assume you need a fire to cook meat on when you kill animals(if you can)

Thanks, what about weapons and other items such as axes etc? i saw that stones repair these can anything else repair them?

That's strange i was in a house last night and set up a fire and it warmed me up! thanks for the other pointers too :)
