Hey guys, during my ban rampage I banned some innocent dudes due to a script I classified as illegal by mistake/bad knowledge. After research with Tansien I came to the conclusion that this particular script is legal. Of course everyone getting banned due to this mistake will be unbanned now. I apologise to every player being innocent for the trouble caused by this mistakes. Further I demand every Serverhost banning based on my pillory to unban the innocent. This poor innocents were most likely banned due to the fact that they used the Beta client on my non Beta Server, so I had no idea that these scripts where legal in fact the reference data I used was pre Beta. Strange in fact those scripts have never been executed on me or my mates on respawning/creating new character. In addition I sended a request to the Devs to verify my accusions. I feel sorry for those who are banned and in fact innocent and will gladly create a thread for each of those and apologise for banning them but you have to understand the background for these banning sprees. Hacking has become a fucking huge problem due to poor netcode and security systems given by arma2 itself. The community was fronted with the problem that everyone can cheat the system with ease, not only giving himself an advantage whats not the matter for me, I realy dont care about some dudes with instant high gear. Its more the killing, teleporting of other players and crashing the servers what makes me worry about. So to stop that actions I started to parse the logs by simply looking for those scripts that are executed on me and my mates while playing/respawning/perfomring what ever action just to get an overview of LEGIT scripts. In addition I sticked to the scripting wiki to get an overview and together with a mate of mine well knowing the usage of hex editors and aram2 scripting I made a whitelist and just keep all the other scripts out. I really feel sorry from the depth of my heart for those who are banned and innocent, I will remove all those code snippets above to prevent further lynching. Hm, at least when I became a host antipop send me an email with my instance ID and an attached document with step by step instructions on how to set up the server. You have most likely the same or should ask for it.

Just follow the instructions given by the devs and you are good to go.

Time to clean the servers! Too many script kiddies out there claim them as their personal palyground.

Hey, I started going through my logs today and found a hand full of cheating **** . But there are still some scripts I cant identify. Is anyone here experienced with this stuff and can give me some hints? I will send you the code I dont know :P Greetz

In fact only providing no evidence on this case will discredit your story. I mean you dont know if it was the admin or just bad luck.

@Kiotie: Rcon bans/kicks, and that what kickes you when your ping is too high, look exactly like that.

To be honest. His corpse is gone after the restart so getting his stuff back cant be the reason for this in fact they despawn upon server restart. I watched your video and cant see anything fishy. You got kicked by BattlEye for high ping and when reconnecting your client failed to load the Data. I see many ppl in the lobby while you wait to connect and when you leave to the server browser at 2:50 , so the lock may be forced by BEC's flood control. The video shows no restart of the server at all, so is no proof for your accusation.

I dont see this can be stated an exploit as it requires some ressources and skill to farm your gear like this for hours. Its extremly dangerous to stay at the NW airfield for hours, you need mates covering you and stuff while there can always be a good hidden sniper shooting you. Good reward for that tactics in fact loot respawns faster but the risk is high.

Reading this you should realy contact a Dev about it. I had the M107 once...its cool if you camp airfields and cover your mates but simply not worth it when it comes to survival...its loud as fuck and takes your backpack slot in addition to your weapon slot. But it makes you feel like a boss :D

Im not sure about it, but sticking to the loot table and wiki I would say he could not legaly find that one. But you better ask a Dev about this. They know the answer :)

Proof me wrong but that rifle should not be availiable ingame :P only with standard scope. So you just found a hackers corpse ;)
