I banned a guy named judenbengel...and i honestly dont care if anyone thinks this is wrong, if people come on my server using racist/warcriminal or whatever insulting names they get booted with no mercy. In addition rocket said once that racism and stuff is a legit reason to ban, I think your guy can be treated that way.

Beside of the rudeness tomcat is right. Stuff may randomly dis - and reappear and there is nothing that can be done about it. In addition your camp may propably be raided and the tents destroyed. The "wrecks" despawn after a restart. But to be honest: That wont make people investigate any faster. You cant demand anything here in fact you dont pay the server admin. A polite question on what happened instead of claiming something would increase the cahnce of getting usefull help.

Just write down what is happening and we tell you if its an abuse or not.

Check your scripts.log, the script and hacker who executed it may show there if they didnt bypass BE or used a script thats not logged.

I think he means that after a server restart on belgium 1, a player started kicking everyone but his friends to play alone (maybe by admin vote).

I dont control the database but I control the server hanging on the database and the communication with that database is executed on my server and having wrong files/settings may disturbe that communication. So you are again wrong that I cant control hive problems. And realy fuck tents? My playerbase would kill me if I give a shit on their tents/vehicles (oh yeah if tents dont spawn vehicles dont do it neither) its a question of service for me to keep it up running with all the features the game provides and if anything goes wrong I investigate and either find a solution on my side or wait for a fix if it is a global problem.

You are simply wrong. There are reasons. I encountered sync problems with the hive, objects didnt save, load or just did it partially...it took me 3 hours of restarting and setting up tents to ensure its finaly working and for this I needed some people on the server to help me searching for tents in fact admins cant spawn stuff(thank god). You are right. Changes are done in the backend but the testing has to be done on the server. And he stated above that he locked the server to prevent issues from frequent restarts. Nobody wants to play on a server restarting every 5 minutes or more...if you do that even with [maintance] in name I bet those dudes that complain about your server being locked right now come here and complain about your restarts.

As a host you should have access to them, they are availiable where you downloaded all the other files to set up your server. Dont know the directory right now, I'm not at home.

Regarding the security stuff all you can do AFAIK is keeping your BattlEye, banlist and scripts.txt up to date to ensure maximum script/hacker protection. You can go through the scripts.log and parse it for scripts that may have passed BattlEye (thats not uncommon) but if you want to prevent hacking all you can do is rely on BE. Regarding the stuck players problem it looks more like a desync problem?! At least I never heared of a "stuck on respawn" bug/problem.

You cant do anything about it right now, but the host can prevent this for the furture by tweaking his configuration.

Happened for me too untill I tweaked my settings and it turns out that you have to set one setting named "video memory" or something like that to the lowest option given, cant remember the exact name of the option you have to change but may look it up later. Anyway you will find it.

You can start a vote to become an admin if the host didnt disable this in his configuration.

The chance of getting usefull help will increase if you tell us the reason for the ban :P. It has to show up when you try to join the server.

But I dont think that would help you much in fact those standard scripts are now detectable by BattlEye. If you are host of the server jump on hosts IRC, some dudes made tools to parse the logs, ask in there I bet they will help you.

I did, you blamed the admin and after telling you it cant be the admin but a cheater you called me naive so I just explained it once again to you that admin commands are limited.

Dude trust me, I'm an admin, and without running scripts or manipulation, what makes me a hacker in fact I cheat the system I can exactly do the following: -Kick -Ban -Unban -Send kewl admin messages -Lock -Unlock -Restart -Shutdown -Show Playerlist thats it. So whoever killed you used a script, and thats not related to admins only anyway. So jsut get away from blaming an admin for this in fact unless you have a proof that the admin runs a script it has to be an ordinary script kiddie.

THe loot can be found on the ground around the chopper. So its legit. May be obtained by hack but that would appear in the script log.

/sign Boats need inventory. They are cool swimming christmas trees but thats it, except the PBX, good for doing the taxi at the shore, not as dangerous as using a car and realy fast. But thats it. They need an inventory to make them usefull or there is simply no reason to use them as they are too slow. A spotlight would be cool too...without NVGs at pitch black night you are lost on the ocean or run on a sandbank instantly :D
