The reason you didn't get KOS'd this time was because we talked about what happened and how we felt bad about killing you :) If you want to keep surviving you would do a bit better for yourself by staying away from the NWAF and or when you encounter someone put your hands up or lay down. I was told when they checked you out that you were carrying a MP5 with ammo and when we killed you the other day you had a magnum so you weren't totally unarmed.

Last night while watching the fire station @ NWAF field I saw a guy moving south. He was dressed in all blue and was wearing the blue paramedic clothes as well as a blue backpack. We proceeded to approach, he was acting a bit squirlly so we put him down. When we checked his gear it appeared he was a TRUE paramedic, had we known you were legit Daztrazzak we wouldn't have killed you. Sorry but it's a tough world out there, next time let us know who you are :-)

Last night at NWAF as the sun was setting one of our guys spotted a player who "claimed" to be friendly. He shot him anyway, a few minutes later he was killed :( Our group moved in to avenge our fallen brother and we had eyes on the remaining 3 trespassers when the server reset. When the server restarted the group of 3 was no where to be found and the 4 ABSO members were no longer in the server. Was it you guys fearing for your lives and not coming back? I would also love for someone to post up who took the gear from Novo after we completed our suicide pact.

The end result would have been the same for us...we would have killed all the rivals and then had to commit suicide. We're just trying to let you guys have a chance to play with the gear we keep you from ;) I know there is a high FOG presence at NWAF on FOG 2 right now. If you want action just drop into the TS and tell us you're there and looking for a fight, we will kindly oblige your requests...just ask Stabbath. For the record we VERY much enjoy these friendly fight encounters and all the ribbing is in good fun :thumbsup: Punisher

There are SEVERAL days worth of heli hunting there, you honestly can't imagine how much gear is there...oh and did anyone mention the truck??? SERIOUSLY no trap, I'd love for someone to post a screenshot of them in our gear. Punisher

Hey Guys, Our Admins have been working diligently behind the scenes to try to get a resolution to the abnormally LONG server restart times on "The FOG Awaits 1". Unfortunately Vilayer isn't sympathetic to our problem and has done nothing to fix it. I'm sure some of you noticed a server named "The FOG Awaits 2". The 2nd server was rented by our Admin to compare performance between Fragnet and Vilayer and their conclusion is that the performance is close but the restart times on the Fragnet server took less than 2 minutes compared to the 15-30 minutes on the Vilayer server :o Because of this we will be turning OFF "The FOG awaits 1" on 01-01-15 and will be playing on "The FOG awaits 2". We want to apologize in advance to our player database that has put time into finding the rare and valuable loot. This wasn't something we wanted to do to the people that play on our server but our Admins felt subjecting the player base to the unreasonable restart times was more unfair than making a switch to another provider and in the long run will provide a MUCH better gaming experience :thumbsup: Spread the word to your friends and clan mates to make the switch, I can tell you it's a HUGE step up from the other server as I've spent several hours on it already. I'm also told that once you guys/girls start to fill our 40 slot server on a regular basis we will upgrade it to a 50 slot to increase the player interaction (whether it be good or bad for your playstyle B) ) Hope to see you all their VERY soon (particularly in my crosshairs)!!! Sorry Shrub it was me at the crash site. I heard you shoot the zombie and thought you were shooting at me so I decided to return fire. I saw the building you went into but I actually thought it might be you so I left. I never did see you typing messages or I wouldn't have shot at you. Punisher

I know that the server has been frustrating us and because of that we have a second server we're testing right now to see if there is any difference in performance. Our Admin is working VERY hard with Vilayer to try and get the restart problem fixed. From what I know they aren't being very responsive and it's why the 2nd server is with Fragnet. The 2nd server has very quick reset times and it's possible we'll get rid of the first and go with the 2nd and up the slots to 50. Punisher

With the number of server crashes we had yesterday we're going to turn OFF persistence for at least Sunday and see how the server performs. We would also like to hear from the community to see which you prefer, persistence ON with the chance of the unexpected wipe or so you prefer it off? Punisher

I know where that spot in the video is ;) The servers all got wiped when they uploaded .52 to stable. You have the shakes because you're cold. Build a fire and stand next to it or sprint for some distance until you warm up, this symptom shows no signs anywhere other than the shake. Punisher

Guys, We recieved this message from Vilayer this morning: "Due to the update not getting released yesterday, it will be pushed out today instead. We will be taking the servers down at 1pm GMT and then updating them and putting them online later this afternoon. If you have persistence enabled (we do) please try to pick up as much loot as you can from and storage you have as we are wiping persistence and backups from all servers for the update. Sorry for the short notice, servers should come back online updated and working later this evening, any problems please contact support." If you have anything on the ground and want to keep it you better get it picked up. Punisher

I heard your shot, spun around and saw you, took some shots then you started running and I finished you off. Your body started sliding down the hill so I was following it and that's when I got hit and heard a 2nd shot. Was there someone there with you we couldn't find? There were only 2 rounds in your Mosin when I picked it up. I'm pretty sure I've got the video of this so I'll post it up if I do. :)

Was this up above Zelenogorsk on the edge of the trees? If it was after I killed you a guy hit me once with a Mosin but I was unable to find him. Punisher

Certainly not our brightest moment, LOL It's funny I never saw that guy shooting me with the shotgun.

Since the persistence question keeps coming up I'm going to do my best to give a few facts. Every Wednesday the Devs do a wipe to clear the servers of excess loot. This means that ANYTHING on the ground goes away and the server starts fresh. Any item on or in a player is uneffected so try to pick up your most important items. Because of this we turn persistence OFF Tuesday at 08:00 pm and leave it off until Wednesday 08:00 pm Pacific Standard Time, after 08:00 pm on Wednesday the server will go back to persistence ON. When persisitence is off for that 24 hour period the server will also be adjusted to 2 hr restarts (instead of 4 hr), this is so people get the best opportunity to get the loot which might be eluding them. The way loot spawns is still a mystery to me but I know that a restart does not spawn loot when persistence is on. I've seen Green Mountain, the Vybor Mil Base & Jail, the fire station at NWAF and a whole host of other places stuffed to the brim with loot (aka Christmas Spawns) so you'll just have to travel around and look EVERYWHERE, the loot is there sometimes it's just hard to find. Like Blunce and Irish mentioned it does work to some degree. From what I've gathered if you notice the server crashing it won't be long after that it wipes all the loot in an unscheduled fashion. I think I saw you in the Novo Tower last night running around collecting loot. I saw you leave the tower, stash your orange/red drysack and then return with your leather sack. I believe I killed you in the tower but by the time I got to where I thought the body was it was gone. Not long after that I saw a second player gathering loot in the Tower, I took a few shots and he started to crawl. I finally got a good shot on him but I think I just knocked him out because he was laying motionless for sometime and then got back up. I tried head shooting him again and I think I got him because I never saw him again. Later one of our guys spotted someone in the woods and shot at him believing he broke his legs. I was able to zero in on him while he was eating a can of pasta when I let a round go into his skull. When I checked the body it was Stabbath, for a split second I considered taking you hostage but that isn't my playstyle. Hope we see you again tonight Punisher

Yes you can make a ghillie suit, we have one member with a full suit and a few others with with parts of them. Careful when looking for the netting because it's a popular item to find. Punisher

That was the FOG clan last night in Novo. We heard there were man eaters in the area and wanted to see if it was true. We rolled in with a couple of trucks, instead of finding purple people eaters we found a bunch of car jackers. Well we at FOG don't take to kindly to people stealing our rides so we had to deal out some swift justice. Hope to see you there again soon B) Punisher
