Playing the smooth 0.57 experimental patch which dropped this morning. This is the footage we recorded whilst investigating the long awaited high school placed on the west side of Chernogorsk city. Hope you like the addition of this building in DayZ as much as I do! Thank you to the devs for working throughout the night to get this experimental patch launched by the morning. Loving it completely!

https://youtu.be/w0WZKPXjG4c Today I'm going to be showing you how to create Improvised leather items. You're going to need: Blade to skin and quarter the cow, garden lime and Leather sowing kit. All these items are common and can easily be found in any building. Find a herd of animals the most obvious - is the cow herd west of Berezino. Up the hill you'l also find a small housing district with some industrial buildings close by to gather the common items you'l need. Kill the cow. Look at the carcass, take out your blade and select skin and quature. Sometimes the option is a little slow to appear so just wait half a second or two longer. After we've finished skinning the cow you'l receive meat, bones, guts, lard and a the cow pelt. Drag the garden lime over the cow pelt and it crafts 3xTanned Leather. Drag the leather sowing kit over your collected tanned leathers and you'l see the options to craft appear: 1x tanned leather can craft you a hat or water bottle, 2x tanned leather can craft you shoes, 3x tanned leather can craft you pants, 4x tanned leather can craft you storage vest, 5x tanned leather can craft you a leather sack, which can be made into a larger improvised leather sack with sticks and 5x tanned leather can also craft you the jacket. There you have it! Now you'l have the knowledge to equip yourself without risking entering those nasty zombie horde areas.

Fix for a known bug with high populated servers (mostly vilayer servers). Lets make everything 'well-ish' again! =) Hello guys Mr.Blue here with a helpful suggestion to you DayZ high populated server players. In DayZ's 0.53 patch players on high cap servers found themselves unable to craft and apply splints, saline bags, bandage, use the drink all button etc etc. Then the F11, suicide glitch was found and all was well-ish but the DayZ stable 0.54 patch was recent released and players have discovered that the bug still exists, worst thing is that the F11, suicide glitch has been turned off. Its really causes us trouble. Last night we had 3 saline kits and 3 players and we were all unable to craft and apply a saline bag to one another on different high cap 50pop servers but one of the guys have discovered that tapping the Z, prone key whilst trying to craft and apply items to you and your friends works first time everytime! Z is the magic key guys. So if your have trouble applying items to your friends, crafting or picking up items in those bugged out buildings. Tap that Z, prone button!

I get this error message when loading DayZ also. Tried: - Restarting PC and Steam - Spamming the DayZ game to see if it loads on off chance - Verifiying cache on DayZ properties - Completely remove GPU drivers and re-installing latest drivers - Tried previous GPU drivers - Fresh install of Steam and DayZ On SSD (not using backup) - Fresh install of steam and DayZ On non-SSD HDD (not using backup) - Removed individual ram sticks - Reformatted windows SCOTTYZ dude not only can you have my beans, you can take my AK, hunters bagpack and all my mountain dew! ***FIXED*** THANK YOU!

I love DayZ but sometimes its a pain in the arse. Especially when you've joined a server made some friends but before you've added each other on steam the game has crashed or the server has restarted. No problem right, go to your main menu and click play but nothing happens!? So if you don't remember the name, it happens but your now unable to rejoin and you've lost your survivor buddies. So what I'm going to show you here is a quick way to get that IP address of the last server you were on and then il show you how to join on a DayZ server using just its IP. First step, lets get your last server ip address. Open up your documents folder - go to the folder "DayZ" and open up your profile so you can see here my real name, right click and open with notepad - press control and F and type in "lastmpserver" and wahhaa! Here is the last server you joined, its name and ip address. Thats the server I was on last. Stage 2 lets copy and paste that IP address and il show you how to join a DayZ server with just the IP. Open DayZ, change server, click the "Remote" tab and paste, using control and V keys the ip address into the field. Heres the server good to go, join and we're in! Partnered up with the Global Gaming fellas we headed towards northwest airfield. The chaps on point discovered not one but two, Military tents. The Military tent is brand new to DayZ Standalone. They were found in the bunk bed quarters known as the Officers cabins. Originally both were damaged but we were able to repaired them to 'worn' status with the sewing kit. The Military tent is an epic 252 slot, perfect for your whole team - who needs a civilian, 60 slot tent when you can get one of these bad boys! You can close the door and all the windows. Packing it up is fairly simple - Remove any objects in the slots of the tent and look at center pole inside the tent, click "pack tent". The tent replaces your entire bag slot but aslong as you have a tactical vest and large pants you should have enough slots to carry still your essentials. To pitch the tent you can do this whilst its on your back or on the floor, right click and select pitch tent. Right time for photoshoot. After having so much bad luck on the experimental servers I finally find myself my first DayZ Standalone vehicle. Isn't she a beaut! This vehicle is the V3s, its the only vehicle out in DayZ Standalone at the moment but there are rumors that a white pickup truck will also be coming soon. If your interested where this vehicle spawn is and how to get to it - I used the DayZ DB vehicle map that was recently released. Starting from Kamewobo I headed to Tulga but there was no loot so I started winging it straight to the vehicle spawn in Msta and just as I was about to starve , random dumb luck I found a lone house between Msta and Tulga full of supply's. I'll put a picture of where it was in the bottom screen and here is the vehicle location map http://www.dayztv.com/standalone/dayz-chernarus-plus-v3s-truck-map/ There's not much food in the experimental but this house is pretty well hidden so maybe this will help you if you haven't found a vehicle yet. The controls are really nice they have obviously being testing it thoroughly. Notice the speedometer looks like it works which is wicked. Not sure if the fuel gage is or not yet but I'm pretty sure it will be. The official DayZ facebook posted a picture of the mirrors in the V3s of actually working like the do in Arma 3 so that's going to be really cool to all you 1st person players out there. This is all the animations for it, you can currently open all the doors and the hood of the vehicle. I'm guessing that when parts are introduced this is the method you'l be taking in getting one of these vehicles operational. Opening the hood and placing items like a battery inside. They have estimated that the V3s will be out on stable DayZ at the start of next year I'm very excited to see it. MUSIC: The Glitch Mob - Drive It Like You Stole It

Here with what maybe a controversial video on my top 5 tweaks I'd like to make to DayZ in its current state - you know I love interacting with you guys and I'm looking forward to hear if you agree with me or if you don't. Hope I wont be hanged for this lol.. I love DayZ and the work the developers have done but there are some small tweaks that in my opinion that could make the players experience more fluid. here we go... I would love to see yours - Please tell me something you would love to tweak in DayZ. If any of you are wondering why I haven't included base building - I've tried to make my tweak changes as realistically to be changed as soon as possible. I'm really passionate about DayZ and I love the work they have put into the game so far. Don't forget this is just my list I know some of you already have played the game for well over a thousand hours so maybe your list will be better than mine. In the video sequence I was trying to put across an ironic statement - The 1st guy I was very unsure about he seemed to stalk me for no reason but turned out to be friendly. 3rd guy was obviously a bandit and it was the 2nd guy that I thought I could trust ultimately killed me lol... Irony and my sense of character failed me xD
