It's not a secret that gaming "journalists" will misconstrue every little thing in order to just get more clicks. Hell it even has a direct quote from Rocket there in the article that tells you the truth. “We’re going to review the situation in June,” Not "We are releasing in June". It's best to just pay attention to what Rocket says and ignore the articles about what he says; because what he said is that under the best possible conditions the earliest it could possibly release is June. And even then he never said they would with certainty release in June, only that he'd review the progress.
Very true, constructive criticism is something that's needed for everyone. However, a few of the posts on here were a bit less than constructive and just attacking him and his friends cause they were kids. Which really does diddly squat for helping them make better videos.
I definitely agree that the spawning problem needs to be fixed (I've literally had crashed helicopters where zombies spawn within 15 seconds of me killing them), and the glitching through walls is annoying. But other than that I see very few problems with zombies as is.
Did you just walk directly into a forest or something? There's seriously no way you can go 10 minutes after spawning on the coast without running into a house of some kind.
I don't really know how to describe it, but as my partner and I were walking towards a Mogilevka to raid for some loot the entire area turned white and I was launched about 60 yds in the air and instantly killed followed by a really high pitch. It seems this happened to everyone on the server at the same time. SO my question is, what the hell just happened?
I can definitely understand where you're coming from with some potential "hidden weapon testing facility" or some such thing underneath one of the cities. But for me personally I just feel it would kill a large sense of the immersion and come across as campy rather than awesome.
I'd agree with increasing the range of direct chat, or if we're really pushing it having a "city chat" where everyone within a single sub-zone can speak to each other. As is, teaming up with other people is a huge part of DayZ for me that is more or less impossible now as in order to get close enough to actually speak with them you usually end up dead.
Happened to me as well, would potentially avoid a lot of problems if it just dropped the weapons if there wasn't enough room rather than deleting them. Lost an AKM and an Enfield because of it.
