    idk, I haven't encountered much 'cosmetic hacking'. it seems like a slippery slope. if they want to have certain servers where all this fuckery takes place, that's fine with me

    I hate them almost as much as red text I don't want a ride in your boat that drives on the road. don't spawn a helicopter next to me. don't teleport me to an item box. don't teleport next to me and offer me these things. and don't not die when I shoot you. I just wanna play the game the 'right' way

    I don't think they just do it just to piss you off. they do it to server hop into that building, where there will hopefully be better, untouched, loot

    as people have pointed out, rocket has no control over Lingor servers. but besides that, I was playing on a hive server lastnight that was banning people for having hacked weapons. it's not a 'global ban' but they are banned from that server

    played this awhile lastnight. it was different. there were dead player bodies everywhere. the island has multiple barracks. also multiple crashed heli's, but they were all looted already. obviously it plays out as a pvp map rumor has it Takistan will be coming soon (edit: I hate how this site does that with the copying and pasting)

    did you modify your steam shortcut at some point? look at the properties for the steam shortcut (in your library), and make sure the "launch options" are blank I use Play with Six for Dayz, and just launch through steam when I want to play Arma 2 (specifically I launch Operation Arrowhead, then choose the Combined Operations option)

    that doesn't mean much. there's still plenty of chance some part of you was visible, the 4 shots you took, they were watching you while you stalked the other guy, or who knows what else personally I only blame hacking when I have definitive proof

    I'll just point out the obvious: arma 2 and the mod are here and now the stand-alone is somewhere off in the future, and dare I say maybe never (not to be 'negative', but it's just how I think about things. you're not promised tomorrow...)

    Lingor issues..

    my average FPS on Lingor is better than Chernarus. but when the FPS drops on Lingor, it really drops. I have my settings so it rarely goes into the 30's on Chernarus, but on Lingor it dips into the 20's and even the teens. it also doesn't seem to be a server or a.i. thing since the FPS go right back up when I look at the ground or sky

    if you shoot one shot from a 10 round clip and reload, it puts that clip with 9 rounds back into your inventory. then when you reload again, it might grab that 9 round clip and not a full one. I'm not sure how it picks which clip to use next

    I keep getting this error the first time I use an item in my pack inventory (drink soda, eat food, etc) it doesn't seem to affect anything
