rocket talked about it back in june, before hacking was that bad. there were also way less servers back then, so it might have been a big deal if you got banned from a server and honestly I'm sure people do get server banned while not knowing the weapon they had wasn't in the game. but it should be a wake up call that you were doing something wrong, to become aware of the weapons that aren't supposed to be in the game, and to stay away from them -

the server I play on now bans people for having hacked weapons (not a 'global' ban though). when you sign on, the first message that comes up says something like "do not play here with hacked weapons, this is your only warning". and constantly while I'm playing people are getting banned for having pdw sd, g36, etc. it also kicks people left and right for various scripts all that is the reason I like that server -
it seems it lets you put a tent just about anywhere now. I tried to be slick and put it in the middle of this clump of 3 pine trees. it let me put it there, and it was perfect as far as being completely unseen, but then it wouldn't let me access it. then to add injury to insult, as I'm crawling around under the tree to try to access my tent, I break my leg and lose almost all my blood oh, well. some morphine, a pig, and a cow, and I'm feeling better. I need to find another tent though...

at some point you have to question people's intentions for making threads. why come on this forum to let everyone know you've quit playing? just because you frame something a certain way ("I know it's an alpha but..." "I'm not QQ'ing but..." ) doesn't mean that wasn't the subtle implication. it could even be done subconsciously -

the system seems bugged now. every time I enter a game, I have the bandit skin. then a few minutes later it switches to the 'normal' skin (and usually scares the fuck out of me as it switches to 1st person) -
I don't see why any of this is important. especially humanity. first of all it's been gone since early june, and only returned briefly in 1.7.2.5. besides that, you should know what kind of player you are. the different skins are to let other people know

Why does it take ten mins to log in and why is there no loot?

I've seen it happen when a server is full or near full. no loot and sometimes no zombies. there's usually other symptoms, like random lag, and it taking a long time to pick up items. I think it may mean they need to reset the server, or the server just can't take the load of that many players
