Oh they will be added, if not by the devs the mods will add them and believe me myself and the majority of players will be on those servers because in my opinion as has been stated rocket launchers did not just grow legs and run off when the zombies showed up, if you go to a military base you would be likely to find one, the problem with these forums is the majority of the main commentators are actually the minority in game so although they voice their opinions heavily it has much less of an impact because as i say, they are the minority, do you ever wonder why rocket and most of the devs avoid the forums, in my personal opinion it is this kind of elitist attitude that is probably the answer.

I would say it probably is your fault, you were killed before you logged out or while you were logging out. Some servers can cause these wipes but you should see a message at the bottom left telling you it can not load you character and in this case you can just leave quickly to retrieve your old character back. A lot of people say that there are character resets randomly but i have never once lost my character to one of these 'random resets' so i have to ask myself what is the real cause of these, is it that some people are just unlucky and have a bug with the game that lots of others do not get or is it that their avatar in game is being killed somehow while they are logging out, i am having so much trouble deciding.

Yeah i was gonna say, have fun with your four inventory slots just for a god dam map but as you say, if they just make the map use up 1 slot or even none considering it is a piece of paper then why would i bother using an external site.

That is exactly what a bandit is and often my group find ourselves saying ' I promise we are old fashioned bandits, if you do as we say we will let you live'. Basically having to tell the person we are just holding them up, that we like to do our banditry properly the way it is meant to be done and i find a lot of people respect that and a few do listen. The issue now though is that everyone wants to swing their fists or do some kind of stupid shit, we get behind a sniper laying down and tell him not to turn around so what does he do, he tries to turn around. We catch someone eating and we tell them not to pull their gun out and press f2 so what do they do, try and pull their gun out. I try my hardest not to kill people and still be a bandit but you have no idea how hard it is in this current form of dayz, life is cheap and so a lot of people just throw it away, that is my opinion anyway, hopefully with a bit of time, life will be more precious and more people will be complient leading to less deaths by my hand but we will have to wait and see.

Yeah and that advise would go to anyone who buys this game, play experimental when you want to test the game but otherwise come back when it is finished, you know why people are so negative on these forums, it is because they play too much, play it like it is a full game and then get annoyed at the problems with it. My advise still stands.

Alpha, these are problems with the early access game, come back when it is finished. Also you can outrun zombies unless you have an extremely bad computer or it just takes a long time to escape them, you have to run non stop for quite a while, best to just get a melee weapon and kill them.

I thought we were meant to have a devstream every week, i know he was ill last week but i have not heard a mention of it at all this week, is it not happening anymore or have i missed something ??

This is really good, you should put this in suggestions and on reddit and i think you would probably get it noticed a bit more.

All a bit ridiculous but that bit where he was moving his head back and forth and it looked like he was giving him head did make me chuckle.

Actually i have read the report but i still watch the videos, i find the voice quite arousing. Normally i just minimise the browser and do other things.

I have said it before and i will say it again until my point is heard, the people will be where the spawn are, if you want people north west put some spawns north west, that would be the last thing they would need to do and then with the 50 player servers we would actually start seeing some balance on the maps as no matter where your friends are you would have a reasonable chance to get back to them within half an hour.

That's crazy, at least we can see the hacking problem is getting much better then it used to be, they are really getting a handle on things. I remember when people used to teleport around and shoot you with an unlimited m4, so glad they can't do that anymore, wait a minute. For anyone that can't tell the hacking situation is now uncontrollable and has gotten far worse then it used to be, instead of getting less scripts to play with it seems the script children are getting even more.

Haha, i always do this myself, if i am having trouble trusting someone i always put myself in a position where they can knock me out so i normally say i'm just going afk for a second and i will stand still and wait to see what they do. 9/10 they will try and attack me, good job weeding out the sneaky rat.

No you did make yourself clear i was just saying that basically you should not expect any help from anyone in the games current state as survival is not the core part of the game yet, that does not mean you wont accept or receive help from anyone, there are tons of friendly people out there. But what i mean is if you don't already know the person and they are not a steam friend i find and i am sure you will, it is very difficult to trust most people as they are not friendly and most are opportunists and hostile and are probably already grouped up, if you are not fully prepared to kill the random person you have met and are not always on your guard they will probably betray you before that friendship blossoms. For example i have two recent friends on steam now, one that i play with every time i am on and we both had a laugh about how we were both waiting for the right opportunity to come along to kill the other but we kept getting shot at by other people which just kind of kept us preoccupied. Before i went to log out i asked for his steam and it just grew from there. Making true friends in dayz is hard to do which is why i gave beans to freethink, as he said big groups are normally reduced to a core 3 or 4 people at most. It will take time and you will find that most will be hostile but every once in while you will find someone and you will both just click Edit : I personally find surviving on my own a lot harder then surviving with others, three guns are better then one, three pairs of eyes are better then one etc... But your last sentence sums it up pretty much you just have to keep trying until you actually find someone who is also looking to partner up or visit the clan page here if big groups is your kind of thing.

Well your main issue is expecting help from anyone, learn to survive on your own first and then these items will just become a bonus rather then anything reliable, my group barely ever carries salines around anymore tbh. I started off as a lone wolf myself having never played the mod so never met anyone prior interested in the game and i must say i had trouble finding a group for quite a while so you will get there.

Well not only that but you also have a shock meter which affects the rate at which your health goes down, i believe after three bullets his shock meter was so high that his health just plummeted to nothing. I may be wrong.

And real life depending where you live.

Condition makes no difference to the grenade affect, it will still be the same no matter what at the moment and just to clear something up with everyone else. People killed by a grenade will still have ALL of their gear in tact. Probably will change in the future but currently after you kill someone with a grenade all their loot is yours.
