Hi, I'm getting insane lag spikes when moving around in cities, the bigger the city the more lag. So a good example could be Novodmitrovsk, where the game is borderline unplayable. If I look down or up, the lags go away, so I'm 100% sure it has something to do with loading the scenery. The amount of players on the server does not affect this issue, as I get the same lag on 40/40 servers and 1/40 servers. I have the following hardware setup: - CPU: Intel i7 5930k (also same issue with 3930K on 4.6GHz) - RAM: 4x 4GB Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 @ 2800MHz - GPU(1): EVGA GTX780 SC ACX - GPU(2): EVGA GTX780 SC ACX - Motherboard: Asus Rampage V Extreme X99 Chipset - PSU: Corsair AX1200i Platinum - SSD(1): OCZ Vertex 4 256GB (OS installed here) - SSD(2): OCZ Vertex 4 256GB (Game installed here, via Steam) - Monitor(1): Asus VG248QE 144hz 1080p - Monitor(2): BenQ 2410t 120hz 1080p - OS: Windows 8.1 Pro x64 I've also tried the following, which has not fixed anything: - Setting launch options to: -nosplash -noPause -cpuCount=6 -maxMem=16384 -exThreads=11 -malloc=system - Force SLI via Nvidia Inspector, as described here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=205916418 - Change the DayZ.cfg in My Documents to: refresh=144;, GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;, GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1, vsync=0; - Change the "Profilename".cfg in My Documents to: sceneComplexity=100000; viewDistance=1500; - Using Nvidia Experience optimized settings - Force Nvidia Control Center, under DayZ.exe, to set "Power Management" to "Prefer Maximum Performance" My FPS test results from post #7 - Test server ping & desynch: http://i.imgur.com/UllxPCk.png - Video Window: http://i.imgur.com/5kxS1wP.png - Quality Window: http://i.imgur.com/ZNtoKYl.png - Rendering Window: http://i.imgur.com/ur7dorr.png - Textures Window: http://i.imgur.com/23qR6UX.png - Looking at a city (Severograd): http://i.imgur.com/aFzSiko.png - Looking away from that city (same spot as above): http://i.imgur.com/FnO77pU.png Any suggestions? :)
