Lol, Dayz is not a FPS, it's a survival game. It has shooter mechanics, but at heart it's a survival game. I guess that shows what you think Dayz is lol. Again, the devswon't remove it, so this conversation is pointless xD. But we may as well continue the rage war.

To those people championing for 3pp removal. If 3PP was removed, me and most of the players that play on 3PP servers would quit the game. Maybe not if it was just tweaked. But whatever, to you we're all just a bunch of 10 year old COD noobs, and everyone who plays 1PP is a hardcore survivalist who are all the only real "Men" in the apocalypse. Because it's the only right way to play.... Yeah, if you want empty servers and a dead fan base, be my guest. I'm not against it bring tweaked, but removal would certainly be negative for the game. EDIT: lol, yeah 3pp is definitely in the same category as spaceships and hacks.

Couldn't you theoretically barricade it off with tents on a private hive server? Or can you pack it up from any angle?

Me too. I want to be able to plant my tent in the middle of NWAF and have AI soldiers with rocket launchers and .50 cals preventing anyone from taking my stuff to pawn it off.

How much does wearing a helmet protect against assault rifle bullets and pistol rounds? I know they don't help much with the mosin but will they help me survive a headshot or two?

Mine was with a cr75. I met 3 dudes who neglected to search me, and when one was in steam his "friend" shot him and the third guy was killed. I killed the "friend" whilst he was looting. So, what gun?

Evil beware. We have doughnuts. And guns. Lots of guns. Presently melee combat makes me puke, and Dayz has always been about firearms anyway, so while I think melee is good, I feel as if taking those melee weapons and giving them uses, like spraying with fire extinguisher, would be better then adding like 50 new ones.

What do you guys want for new scopes next update? Personally I want the LRS off the mosin and on the Winchester. I also want a 12x hunting scope like the one that was leaked but not released. And a HBAR AUG with scope and bipod findable would be nice. What about you all?

I'd presume Winchester coming next patch so maybe they will make scopes for it

Found a pristine sword in Rog Castle today, looks very nice, no rust at all! So I'd recommend Rog if you're looking for a sword. Good luck! Didn't find any at other castles. On a side note, bayonets work for suicide. Dunno about swords.

Apparently the sword is a replica from the description lol.

I feel as if it is an improvement in some areas(like UI, survival, all buildings enterable) and needs work in others(pure content, optimization, bugs) But. My answers to your complaints are: 1. The no loot thing is a glitch from .50, and if you get that you should probably switch servers. 2. New renderer coming this quarter, so no omptimization till then. 3. Resolution bug easily fixed if you look it up. 4. Game still in alpha, be paitent. I'd recommend waiting another year if you really prefer the mod. Lastly, the Standalone is meant to be a survival game, not a military sandbox, so it will be very different from the mod.
