  1. I haven't had the screen change images on me.. Sadly this is still going on. Thought it was going well the other night because I was able to play for an hour and a half without seeing one, and then it happened again.
  2. This seems to happen more if I am approaching towns, but it can happen at any given time. When I am running around from place to place, all of a sudden my view goes black and I get a DayZ splash screen that says "Receiving..." at the top. I'm on a 30mb wired connection so I can't imagine it's a latency issue. The solutions from old posts seem to have people say to set the Video memory to "Default" rather than an actual value. Now, I've set all my video settings to Default, and then reconfigured them, basically just turning down some textures and fixing the resolution. I've had no luck. I've been playing a little over a week and have been battling with it since I bought the game. Can post more information if needed. I know this isn't just me getting this, as I see people who have had the exact same problem, but all the posts are from 2012-2013. I've just been tolerating it up to this point but last night it got me killed by another player. I couldn't react at all since the DayZ splash screen was there. Couple of quick specs on hardware: AMD FX-8120 8-core CPU AMD Radeon 6950 (2 GB video memory) 8 GB DDR3 RAM @ 1600 MHz Anyone have issues playing 1920 x 1080? I can't think of what might be causing this. Any ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks!
