FPS drops, Memory Leaks after U0.49

Because this isn't an unique problem, maybe someone should do an official ticket about this? http://feedback.dayzgame.com/

FPS drops, Memory Leaks after U0.49

There are couple of related threads already: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/169104-day-z-graphics-glitch-and-fps-lag-issue/ http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/211326-texture-bug/ Could admin maybe merge these or something? Anyway, this seems to be what happens (from the first thread): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC6IP3mti_o Can everyone confirm that? I know it's from january and from the mod, but exactly the same thing happens now. My friends rig is something like i5 2500K GF 560GTX 8GB DDR3 normal HDD We have - reinstalled the game - removed all config files etc - run the game in window - tried running -winxp (so no, we are not using it normally) - updated GPU drivers (at the moment we are using the latest ones) - disabled Aero - updated DirectX ...and what else.. I want to higlight that fps is just fine (read: "normal") before that glitch occurs. Only after that fps drops to below 7 (actually it feels even more lower) For example, changing texture settings or flushing (Shift + Num- and writing 'flush') fixes the problem for a while, but in couple of minutes it occurs again. Sometimes in one, sometimes in five minutes.

Day Z Graphics Glitch and FPS Lag Issue

Sorry, but in my opinion this has nothing to do with things you have written on your posts. This is a glitch, not well-known-fact about overall bad performance/engine. And that's why I wonder if anybody has found any solution for this? I know two persons with different GPUs (GF and Radeon) wrestling with this problem. We have already tried to update GPU drivers, reinstall the game etc. Nothing works. First it only occured when playing 1st person (HC). Now, after the latest patch (0.49.124971), it occurs all the time with 1st AND 3rd person -modes. Unlike the OP said, there's no need to relaunch the game, changing texture settings is enough - for a moment (also shift + Num- and then flush works). Then it occurs again. And again. Every couple of mins. And this is actually the only topic about this glitch I have even found... The Google seems not to be my friend with this :( E: Seems to be same problem as here: http://forums.dayzgame.com/index.php?/topic/211326-texture-bug/
