Try going prone and rolling around the outside of the chopper with your inventory (tab) pulled up. You'll "see" things this way that you can't see just by looking at the ground.

Two of my clan members have found Smersh vests in the last couple of days. Apparently, some of the loot spawns are bugged under the ground so you have to get creative on how to "extract" them from the Chopper. Hope that helps.

It's not just the new "base". The tent loot nodes are broken for some reason. The NWAF tent nodes are no longer spawning clips/attachments etc like before either. Most the same items listed above. Canned food, water bottles, loose ammo, and an occasional pistol. Just got an AK101 and the only 2 places I could ever find those cartridges were in the "tent cities" or barracks. Now they aren't spawning in either. I've found a 75rd AK cartridge in a hanger (perhaps dropped by another player), but no 30rd clips anywhere since the patch. Feel bad for all the AKM and AK101 lovers out there. Unless something changes you'll be scrambling for cartridges. Funny enough I've found two heli crash sites with tons of M4 ammo/attachments... just no M4. :(

Hope everyone in the community isn't as much of a jerk. I'm well aware of what I purchased, as I've been playing for about a month now. That's why I was surprised the Zeds seemed to be worse after the patch (more glitchy). I'm also noticing just about everyone KOSing for no good reason. Perhaps your more representative of the community that I would have hoped. I'll make this second post my last. Enjoy your perch, it must get lonely up there.

Zeds more broken So I log in to play after finally patched and find a backpack and some food... wohoo. Then I see my first Zed. As usual he bugs through doors and walls, but I have a pitchfork so I try to attack. Can't seem to hit him at all. Meanwhile he's hitting me even when I can't see him (bugged in walls). I finally die getting hit as he's "invisible" and I can't run away from him. lol. wtf?
