I definitely would eventually get used to having a permanent first person, but since mod I've played mostly third person. If I was to be asked why I prefer third person, I'd say the two following things: 1. I get to see a complete view of my surroundings. 2. ALT-Look is 10x more helpful in thirdperson

Following Plasticassasin8's advice, I have noticed a trend that high population servers and nearly empty all the time servers have a very high chance of loot. I've even found some very neat servers following his technique. I advise all looters to do the same!

Hey everybody. I've been playing DayZ Standalone since it's come out, and I've never had a problem with finding loot. My amount of gameplay has reduced drastically due to me not being able to open the game (Solved on this forum!) in the last four months. I've followed the updates still, but after giving up on my very geared character (a picture was also posted here) due to him not having food, and every server I joined not having any either, I've realized the truth. DayZ Standalone now has a loot drought! Every server I join has every door opened or is a private hive. That being said, does anybody have any suggestions on how to find servers that actually have items?

I just fixed my game; and then I found out a wipe is coming. This really sucks. I found all this loot near a V3S. Every gun in the game.

I have the exact same issue. Once again, nothing works. I used to be able to play fine and even had a workaround, but every time I try to start it, the BATTLEYE command prompt opens, says it's installing stuff, then crashes, saying that is has no access. Video Card: AMD RADEON HD 7700 Series 8gb RAM Windows 8.1
