They are many many times better then they were, but its still common to see a zombie come through a wall. Odds are with you if you try to hide from a zombie in a building now.

Weapons and ammo are too easily available right now. Right now that might be a good thing, what else is there to do? Later hopefully surviving is a challenge, at that point a gun should be a prized possession. It took you three weeks to find your M4 and 10 bullets, and each of those 10 bullets is a serious decision on whether or not you want to use it, and will it help you survive, was their a "cheaper" way to survive? You arent going to fire those bullets unless it is to live. Not cuz you want to kill every person you see, and the 30 people after him cuz you have 500 ammo on you and why not....
