i just wanted to say, also in this version, persistence seems not to be working over a longer time (more than 1 day) i set up a camp yesterday with lots of backpacks, items and so on and it worked for several server retart until the evening then i come back today and baaam everything gone - just everything - kept my character though .... but i guess this is not how it will be in the future (i hope) as this does not encourage people in setting up camps if they get deleted every 12h or so <_< <_< <_<

also i hope horticulture is working everywhere on grassland, i cant find a sense in not being able to grow plant in a garden where there are sunflowers and pumpkins all over the place ...

so servers seem still to be crashing, DE-05 is bugged like in the last version of experimental, sadly exactly where i built up a "base" yesterday so i can't check persistence

they are falling like flies again xD started playing on DE-01 persistence working, then crashed and now bugged in some kind of restart cycle, exact same happened to UK-09 and some others i was playing on, DE-01 is bugged for several hours now update : one european server left

because i'd do it, but only if it was just a command to type in that would require 30 secs of my spare time. Just like I always do, as i have my own business. If you grow up and maybe have your own business and customers especially in the IT-Sector, you will maybe understand . Enough Off-topic like i said i would do it IF it was easy and not time consuming *hope i'll get a job soon*

do you have to physically be at your workplace to restart a server that isn't located there in the first place ? dunno maybe someone could type the restart command from home in about 30secs ? just askin

why are all the servers restarting every minute ? managed to spawn one time and i was a fresh spawn ? really sad this happens on sunday, a day that normal working ppl have much time to test out the experimental build :rolleyes:

i really hope this is not just for the purpose of looking at player movement , loot and death rates to balance the game, you know ... haven't really read about them developing this for security and anti cheating reasons ...

I know there will always be some ppl actually paying money for special hacks, the real problem here is : THEY ARE COMMON it literally took me 1-2minutes after my last post to google a working undetected hack in a forum, available for everyone, what do you think about that ? i cant play on any full 40 ppl server for 2-3 days in the afternoon without getting killed by a hacker atm, this is pretty much a gamebraker i actually cant remember the last time i got killed in a proper gunfight without hackers or just caused by hunger/sickness and i actually never got killed by zombies since the standalone is out, only when it was my intention (suicide) i now got to the point where i don't really trust anymore in that "new server architecture -ish thing" that took them several months to make it impossible to cheat another point is : I really really really don't get how someone can speedhack and/or teleport anymore ?!?!? i mean it's not incredibly hard to track the travel speed of someone being on the server, is it ? since everyone is on foot for now it should be really easy. if someone travels faster than possible with running in a given time, hes a hacker, period. if someone gets hit by anything and has still the exact same blood level, hes a hacker isn't he ? this all should be checkable with "everything now happening server side not client" shouldn't it ? i don't understand the real big problem in this

I just wanted to post that i just got killed by a hacker again.... happens to me all the time atm ... whenever i start playing on a well populated server a speedhacking , godmode hacker pops up ... i even once saw one speedhack over a field ... looked like he was extreeeemely lagging he moved in steps of 30m maybe. i thought this wasn't possible with the new server-client architecture ? i just make the experience that the standalone became the same as the mod when it comes to the appearance of cheaters for me ... :(

well my experience is that loot persistence isnt really working ... just placed a fireplace behind a tree, came back a few hours later , it was gone after the restart

so the only new item i found so far was a snare trap for rabbits on the reddit changelog ? would be so sad ^_^ was really hoping for new items / vehicles / persistent items actually really saving for the 0.50 version well maybe just nobody survived long enough :D http://imgur.com/a/CmYhR

hoping for an experimental update or stable update today, where the servers actually don't crash so persistent items actually save and dont get lost every time the server crashes ...

Did really NO ONE botice the new civilian airport buildings at NE airfield that clip into the old military ones ? lol you can walk through every wall there ... wondering why no one checked that before releasing stable XDXD its not a gamebreaker u can still loot the old buildings though you dont see that much in ground floor :rolleyes:

gameplay must have been a real apocalypse deathmatch in the last hours of yesterday evening ... i also left that out and my 2 months old character was never seen again i guess :( -

anyone else noticed persistence not working ? i just threw my fireplacekit on the floor, hacked down a tree lit up the fire and threw all my fresh hunted deer steak in there ... CONNECTION LOST i thought wait ... persistent objects like the fireplace should stay where they are ... server back up ... connected :O fireplacekit + steaks gone ...... im hungry in the woods :( -
