Unfortunately thats exactly what i was thinking.. hence this post, dont want to make anyone's kos list...

I try my best to never kos, try to get a tactical advantage, talk to people and difuse the situation.... but shit happened so fast, i do feel bad... I'm under the impression that stripping loot off the body will allow it to remain there longer than if you leave it on the body, so hoping he ran back to the scene of the crime.

Sounds like you were not left clicking / swinging the axe(hard to tell, you say axe swinging but not raised?!?)... with the axe IN your hands you should be able to just hammer away w/ left clicks when in range. I also prefer 3rd person axing + the circle jerk method, very easy to kill many zombies with this method and they will even be hitting the other zombies in the middle of the circle jerk. A little harder on the hardcore/1st person mode but still can axe many zombies at same time w/o getting hit at all.

Good stuff as always trmz, seen a lot of vids of axemen winning battles in cqc - stairwells - hallways, another fine example. The end, hmm - either an amazing sniper shot from firestation/air traffic control or some some hacker, hard to tell. (it did sound like an axe hit... very odd)

Actually if you use a pick on many rock formation you can find a focus crystal, add that to the flashlight, then find some glasses - remove the lens and add that to the flashlight = laser pistol ala star trek.... i shit you not.

Both street/hybrid bikers and cats are kill on site, cant wait to find you afk somewhere... Altho rule #1 in zombieland is cardio, cardio doesnt help when it comes to bullets.

I believe this is it... shot location factors into the amount of dmg done and the effect of said dmg. Its possible to 1 shot someone in the head if they have zero protection, hell iv seen videos where people go down with 1 shot to head even with good helm.

Generally a good rule to shoot anyone with a moisen... you know what they are eventually gonna do... go camp 300m away and snipe people, so you basically saved a lot of lives by killing him.

The zombies are no factor, the chance of starving - no factor, the chance of dehydrating - no factor, the chance of freezing - no factor, the chance of getting murdered - MAJOR FACTOR... so how to lower your chances of getting murdered ? gear up so its an even fight or go hide in the woods in middle of nowhere and become a hermit ... i go with option A - murder the murderers, imo there is nothing funner in this game atm than gearing up, hitting a high pop server and go in guns blazing... its a rush you dont get from many if any other game out there...

This would seem rather obvious lol, never answer the door, never answer the phone, ignore all family and friends... UNTIL you can log out in a safe spot. Cats = kos (sorry)

This normally brings up the touchy subject of --- server hopping --- , find a good location that spawns gear and raid it, log out, look for servers that just restarted, log in at that same good site and raid again, rinse / repeat till jacked. Have to be on your toes at all times cause people usally camp these sites and iv had several battles hopping. Imo the fun of this play style is to gear up, run to the coastal battlezones, log out, log into high population server and begin the adrenaline rush... sometimes help a fresh spawn... sometimes shoot a lot of people... sometimes get shot very fast... never know whats going to happen and im sure iv made someone's day when they loot my corpse (as long as its not all ruined).

good find, full of all the classic dayz types, the fresh spawn noob, the half geared survivor, and the kos bandit types... gonna have to check out thier other stuff. I think the dayz team just found themselves a top notch add for the game lol, thier other stuff is great too.

When / if i reconize a name from these forums in-game i try not to kos and make contact... I'll admit iv only seen a few names in a game i recognized and never ran into those people but always wanted to keep that option open. Seems like one of the few ways to potentially weed out a hostile and maybe even make contact with said hostile... After many bad encounters, as we all know, many of us have turned into murderers - not by choice but by these horrific wasteland encounters that have warped our otherwise good natures... Granted that these encounters can and prob will only happen on very low population servers where the list of names is short, would be very difficult on a 40/40 server - see a familiar name - then try to find that person lol. Like Cpt Miller would say " Like trying to find a needle in a stack of needles..", altho he did find Pvt Ryan... maybe we can to and not die on a bridge...

Hit F2(hands up) and then immediately start typing... prob your only option to delay getting blasted in the face. Or just hit F4(f u) and go out with guns blazing. Option 2 prob better if you are fully geared as most people seem to just shoot onsite anyways, hopefully you can take at least 1 out and ruin all your gear to spoil thier rape fest.
